European Elections - who will apply?

Surely It would make far more sense and save heaps of money if they just extended the term of the existing MEP's .

White do you know when nominations have to be in? I'm wondering because I've just seen a clip of TM saying that if we can leave be 22 May we won't have to have the elections. So do we prepare for them, send out polling cards etc and then cancel just before?

No I dont think that you have to get nominated. It is different to U.K. politics. I think that you can put your name forward, pay the deposit, and the rest is up to you. Of course it is PR as well.

The Tory party grandees are trying their best to avoid having to take part in these elections. A deal will get cobbled together yet.

Now that Democracy has all but finished here, I cannot see point in putting a cross anywhere, what happens if there is a challenge on that out one. I won't feel bothering. Never since I could vote have I ever missed voting. , I thought it meant something, now it doesn't..

I think it could mean a lot if you vote tactically. Remember 'all it takes for evil to prosper is for good people to do nothing'. We need to try.
