Whatever side of the debate you’re on he is very watchable.

I wonder how they’ll do in the elections ( if we have them )

Farridge on the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation again!!!!! Not that I’m watching, I’d rather be out in the garden or poking my eyes out with a stick.

Where you have unrest & dissatisfaction amongst the Electorate you will always have a surge in support for anyone who fans the flames of discontent, but as with any fire once it has died down the only thing left is charred embers.

It’s Farage not Farridge.

MaizieD Sun 12-May-19 10:43:29

It's not polite to correct spelling errors, Kandinsky

Shouting, rude and blustering!
Refuses to say he opposes the privatisation of the NHS because that issue is "not relevant to the EU election"! It's bloomin' relevant to most of us!
Global warming concerns are unintelligent!
The BBC is in denial about NF's "success" - so why so many appearances on QT?
That poster! No regrets about it!
Absolutely no discussion of any plans beyond brexit!
Explains the absence of a manifesto because all past manifestos contained lies and unkept promises.
Confirmed all my feelings of utter disgust!I

Farage blustering on Andrew Marr. Ruining my morning coffee. Trying to deny all the things he has said in the past.

Grandmashe43 Sun 12-May-19 10:55:11

Farage absolutely dreadful on Marr, hope this interview is repeated and repeated to show what a dreadful person he is.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 12-May-19 11:16:27

He needs challenging over and over. It isn’t difficult as there is so much evidence out there.

Kandinsky Sun 12-May-19 11:27:09

MaizieD

It’s not polite to misspell someone’s name.
Random spelling errors / typos/ I would never comment on, but someone’s name is different.

Jabberwok Sun 12-May-19 11:48:09

Totally agree Kandinsky!! I too shall be voting for FARAGE in the EU elections! For me it's a protest vote, an election I was assured I would never have to take part in! Well, as I now find his to be yet another broken promise, ok, I'll vote, but not for any of you charlatans!!

Bridgeit Sun 12-May-19 11:50:50

A void will soon be filled .
There has been a void in politics for the electorate for sometime now, the two main parties are so outdated, insular & diverse to the extent that people are just tired of it all & are ripe for turning their backs & going for a rank outsider, unfortunately this doesn’t mean the outsider is any better, lancing a boil & letting NF spill out may give the electorate a sense of release but it leaves an awful lot of mess to clear up!

Firecracker123 Sun 12-May-19 12:40:03

That's just your opinion but fortunately you are in the minority.

GracesGranMK3 Sun 12-May-19 12:48:49

It appears "Faridge" is in the minority too. Even in the opinion poll showing this strange "party", or rather opinion poll vehicle, at its best, 66% of the country don't want him or his Brexit.

varian Sun 12-May-19 12:58:15

It is quite noticeable that brexit supporters often make dogmatic statements like "you are in the minority" or "we will leave the EU" without any evidence .

lemongrove Sun 12-May-19 13:05:40

People are really getting scared about the forthcoming EU elections ( on GN as well as the RW.)
That’s because they realise that the Brexit Party are going to win, and win big I should think.
The surest sign of it is when posters start spelling names in what they imagine is an amusing way, as in Farridge or Faridge, unless of course that is merely not being able to spell.

crystaltipps Sun 12-May-19 13:08:59

Obviously I do know how to spell NFs name -just trying to amuse myself- I know he likes to pronounce it the posh way as in garage.

Whitewavemark2 Sun 12-May-19 13:11:31

crystal ? I got it. Pendantry is alive and well!

Kandinsky Sun 12-May-19 13:12:16

‘Farridge’ isn’t even funny, It’s just another name. I’d half understand it If remainers we’re spelling it Fararse or something.
Very odd. confused

sarahellenwhitney Sun 12-May-19 13:14:26

Crystaltipps. Why change you ask? A new broom sweeps clean the old one knows the corners.

MaizieD Sun 12-May-19 13:28:31

Problem is that the new broom doesn't have any bristles. The candidates must be having a wonderful time. They don't have to defend any policies, because they don't have any. All they have to do work the crowds up into a state of baying hatred for their perceived 'enemies'.

This bears a startling resemblance to the way revolutions start. Whip up lots of hatred then let the mob go...

Our Nige isn't going to be able to get us out of the EU because he doesn't have a clue how to do it. Apart from shouting loudly at the foreigners...

Whitewavemark2 Sun 12-May-19 13:30:51

He knows how to make money.

GracesGranMK3 Sun 12-May-19 13:41:01

I don't have to share your sense of humour Kandinsky. What amuses me are the pseudo middle classes insisting on "Farage" as if it would improve the horrible little man. Shades of Hyacinth Bucket I'm afraid.

lemongrove Sun 12-May-19 13:47:43

Kandinsky this has proved to be a very popular thread you started grin not long to go before it hits the 1000 maximum amount!

crystaltipps Sun 12-May-19 14:00:48

Just shows just as many loathe him as love him. Fararse is a good one though. Thanks for that ?

sarahellenwhitney Sun 12-May-19 14:19:32

What ever our opinion can you think of any member of any other call it what you will party who has been responsible for causing such losses within the two major parties during recent elections.?
Like him or not he certainly caused the to hit the fan.
