If Queen Victoria presided etc, then presumably our present Queen has done the same?!! As both are/were constitutional monarchs, then in fact neither of these ladies have!!

So it's Ok to preside over increasing poverty and inequality as long as you do it with grace and dignity. I believe Queen Victoria did that.

Jane10 perhaps if those who keep supporting her could actually post something positive that TM did during her time as PM there might be some sort of an argument, as it is simply saying you like her isn't enough. And if the poverty figures are her best goodness knows what the worst would be.

It was Mrs May who brought up the Grenfell disaster for her own purpose. The fire service just responded to her.

It seems to me to be a good assessment of her time as PM that no-one has managed to list any achievements, but there are quite a few posts about her inadequacies and mistakes. I've decided her legacy can only be the UN report on poverty in the UK, the country she says she loves.

too right Amagran and why shouldn't she have fought for it. She is/was a very ambitious politician. All because she is female doesn't mean she has to be passive. She never relied on feminine tropes for her power. the only time she cracked was when she lost it. She didn't flirt with ministers like MT and she didn't wheel n her specialness because of motherhood like the loathsome Andrea L. The very least any of us can say about her was she always acted like a grown up. We wont see much of that if Boris gets in.
