Here you are.

All Corbyn critics etc can now have a thread all to yourselves.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 29-May-19 12:55:02

Why do people constantly go back to the same question, when it has already been answered?

And don’t say that I haven’t answered because if you read and digest what I have written you will understand that I consider the reply to be more nuanced than a simple yes/no. So if that is what you want you are doomed to be disappointed.

POGS Wed 29-May-19 12:59:10

WW

"pogs you are repeating yourself, please refer to my original answer."
----

If I am repeating myself it is your behest WW.

I am answering your question :-

" So I’m unclear what your point to me is? There was undoubtedly tactical voting in the EU elections, we would not have got the votes we did otherwise, that applies to the BP as well. '.
----

I have made a valid point, I have given reasoned points if that is not enough to understand my point then I suppose there is no will to do so.

Anniebach Wed 29-May-19 13:13:21

There can only be a yes or no, a right or wrong , a yes/no but’ is not an answer

Is a rule a rule for all or only for some

LarrythecatknowsitAll Wed 29-May-19 13:19:42

Be interesting to know what the labour back benchers voted?

Guessing many Lib Dem.

maryeliza54 Wed 29-May-19 13:22:22

Like all rules ab and especially in political life, their application depends on so many factors. That’s the reality not a statement of support for differential application.

Anniebach Wed 29-May-19 13:26:45

I can’t agree maryeliza ,

maryeliza54 Wed 29-May-19 13:28:29

Well that’s fine but the reality says otherwise

Whitewavemark2 Wed 29-May-19 13:30:58

mary I’ve given up

maryeliza54 Wed 29-May-19 13:35:12

Well ww no one can say you aren’t a trier. I often wonder where you get your stamina from.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 29-May-19 13:53:20

?

Anniebach Thu 30-May-19 08:41:04

Baroness Sharmi has said they are reviewing their decision
to expel Alastair Campbell

Anniebach Thu 30-May-19 09:02:03

Sorry, she said they should review it.

jura2 Thu 30-May-19 12:54:53

she is also saying they will probably support Brexit in a Ref sad

Anniebach Thu 30-May-19 13:10:51

Corbyn wants to honour the results of the referendum

jura2 Thu 30-May-19 16:31:17

And after all that- Shami says L will probably campaign for Leave if there is a Confirmatory vote - and JC still will not commit to having 'remain' on the ballot.

Despair is not even the word.

Anniebach Thu 30-May-19 16:50:56

So, MacDonald, Thornberry,Stamer, Watson support a second referendum, McClusky is against,,

Corbyn believes we must honour the referendum and vote on the deal,

He does like that fence doesn’t he

Anniebach Fri 31-May-19 12:42:07

So more labour members have publicly stated they voted Lib yet only Alastair has been expelled, seems trisher is right, - revenge .

Today a member of the executive committee has been recorded making anti semetic allegations, will he be expelled by tomorrow? He is a close friend of Corbyn !

Anniebach Fri 31-May-19 16:04:23

So Pete Willsman has been suspended not expelled , no surprise there. Damn hypocrites

POGS Fri 31-May-19 17:39:36

Anniebach

The ' I am Spartacus' mood felt by by some Labour members to make it known they too voted for other parties has proven what is felt by many that Campbell was so disliked by Corbyn / Jeremy for Leader/Momentum etc. that has taken over the Labour Party it was seen as a chance to be rid of Campbell. Backfired.

I thought Corbyn was a man of principle according to some.

If voting for another party is cause for Labour to exercise the process of ' AUTO EXPELL' and only 1 Labour Member is booted out how the hell is that standing on a ' principle'?

Certainly a case of ' playing the man not the ball ' which it appears only fools some.

As for Pete Willsman how many times as his name been in the mix over the years of discussing anti-semitism in the Labour Party. Talk about chickens coming home to roost.

Corbyn and those who surround him do Labour no good as a party and I hope as the years tick by at least some of those who joined / returned to Labour because of Corbyn and those who surround him start to accept he is a man with many flaws and if and when blatent / factual evidence is put forward they at least think before denying anything and everything he does which has been the case.

Fennel Fri 31-May-19 18:10:13

I've said a few times that I'm disappointed in Corbyn. I voted for him because I liked his priciples, but on the condition that he was able to unite the factions in the party. Cracks that have existed for many years. He couldn't/wouldn't do it.
I'm beginning to think that both the LP and the Tories have now outlived their lifespan. Historically and politically the world has moved on from the times they were created. Still changing fast, and won't go back.
A new political movement is needed, but not the Brexit party, or the LibDems.
And not just here, but in all European countries.

Anniebach Fri 31-May-19 19:02:27

POGS principles and Corbyn ? I just don’t understand how he can be defended as a man of principle

I await the defence ‘ Willsman isn’t anti semetic he is pro
Palastine .

As for AUTO EXPEL, a lie yet he will be defended .

Granygreat to see and I noted every age group represented in that gathering. Wouldn't it be nice if we could actually see on GN a little discussion about policies and the party instead of the perpetual condemnation of Corbyn, He leads the party but the 50000+ members are what matter.

Anniebach Mon 03-Jun-19 10:32:32

Richard Burgon, the same Richard Burgon who denied saying ‘Zionism is the enemy of peace’, footage was found of Burgon saying ‘Zionism is the enemy of peace’.
