"As his jumbo jet came into Stansted, Mr Trump took to social media and said: 'Sadiq Khan, who by all accounts has done a terrible job as Mayor of London, has been foolishly 'nasty' to the visiting President of the United States, by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom. He is a stone cold loser who should focus on crime in London, not me'.

He added: 'Khan reminds me very much of our very dumb and incompetent Mayor of NYC, de Blasio, who has also done a terrible job - only half his height."

How could he say that?! Especially when just entering the UK!

Is he bonkers? That's just not normal.

Sorry I meant “ guts ( not guys) to do the right thing

I saw a video where a reporter told Trump that Megan had said not do nice things about him during his campaign. He said he didn’t know she was “ nasty.” That’s why Harry kept his distance.
Please don’t apologize for protesting against Trump. He deserves it and if has NO manners at all. I’m happy you all u derstand and are supportive of us who have had a very difficult year and a half. He has ruined our country and parts of the world. He does nothing about all the poor school children that have died from gun violence. His speeches are all lies and untruths. He cut taxes for the top 1% of wealthy people . My daughter has to pay $4000 before her health care kicks in. He has not done one bloody ( sorry) thing for the American people who aren’t the top 1%. He calls everyone names like a school child. He’s disrupting our environment and allowing drilling to go on in formerly protected areas. Thousands of children have been separated at the border and they don’t even know who the parents are for most of them. Can you imagine? In my state alone 81 children were sent to an adoption agency owned by one of his cabinet members. And his wife’s platform is to go around the country with her “ Be Best” campaign to stop bullying. Has she looked at her husband? And I could go on and on. So thanks for your support. Manners aren’t needed when we have a human crisis. What’s needed is guys to do the right thing.
Thank you all .

Anniebach Tue 04-Jun-19 22:26:51

Gonegirl Tue 04-Jun-19 22:24:56

What do you mean why? confused

Gonegirl Tue 04-Jun-19 22:24:24

I am not a "keyboard warrior", whatever that daft phrase means. hmm

I think if you need to disagree with another poster, you could at least wrap it up a bit nicely. Not just practically call them a liar.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jun-19 22:22:10

Why Gonegirl ?

Gonegirl Tue 04-Jun-19 22:20:44

Oh I can assure you I would!!!

Boosgran Tue 04-Jun-19 22:18:40

Agree Anniebach the post was uncalled for and nasty. Another keyboard warrior who wouldn’t dream of saying such horrible remarks face to face.

MaizieD Tue 04-Jun-19 21:45:48

You can't blame Sadiq Khan for that.

Here on Gnet, trisher, it seems that you can blame him for anything you like...

At least he cancelled Boris's bl**dy vanity bridge. Or was that one of his reprehensible acts?

trisher Tue 04-Jun-19 21:33:07

It might be nice moggie57 if this Tory government replaced some of the police numbers they have cut. After all you can't do a job if you don't have the equipment. And it was Cressida Dick who said that crime and the reduction in police numbers was linked. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/mar/05/met-police-chief-cressida-dick-violent-knife-crime-officer-cuts-linked
You can't blame Sadiq Khan for that.

moggie57 Tue 04-Jun-19 21:15:26

well sidque should do just that ,fightcrime and not focus on donald trump. i kinda of like donald trump as he speaks his mind ,though some of his idea's are in humane.

Corbyn increased his vote himself, refusing to attend the state banquet, making a speech which covered all the reasons the people were campaigning for/against

He had no problem attending a state banquet for the Chinese President, very few bothered to demonstrate so he had nothing to gain.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jun-19 20:58:05

No Gonegirl I do not always know best , you post was uncalled for.

Look how the day was organised , who did what and when

EllanVannin Tue 04-Jun-19 20:29:58

Any Brexiteers kicking themselves yet ?

Well to all the Trump-haters, he is delighted at an exit EU vote----he's worked a flanker on you all.smile A Brexit deal means that the USA will figure highly. Oooops.

I voted remain to stay with the EU. Why didn't you all ?

Callistemon Tue 04-Jun-19 20:10:31

may feel that he is absolutely unsuited.

(sorry, I am typing one handed at the moment and should check before posting).

Callistemon Tue 04-Jun-19 20:09:53

Well done Donald Trump! You have increased Jeremy Corbyn's support twice over.

Conversely many people may not feel that he is absolutely unsuited as a leader of HM Opposition since he declined an invitation by the Queen to dine but then requested a private meeting with Trump.

You really have to despair at the naivety of the man.

Gonegirl Tue 04-Jun-19 18:49:56

It wasn't a lapse of manners Maw. He handled it well.

Oh of course, you always know best don't you, Anniebach! I don't know why anyone else bothers to post on here. hmm

He kept away from the man.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 04-Jun-19 18:42:57

Trump’s white supremicist friend Bannon has probably advised him. They are all friends.

varian Tue 04-Jun-19 18:37:19

Well done Donald Trump! You have increased Jeremy Corbyn's support twice over.

Firstly, by saying you refused to meet the leader of her Majesty's opposition, but did meet Tory hopefuls and liar Farage, leader of a "party" which has no seats in the UK Parliament (were you acting under instructions from your good friend and sponsor, Vladimir Putin?)

Secondly, and this is the big one, by saying quite clearly that in any trade negotiations with the UK, everything is up for grabs (if you'll excuse the expression) including the NHS.

Anniebach Tue 04-Jun-19 16:40:04

No, he didn’t keep away from Trump, the Queen accompanied Trump, Hsrry had no choice, it’s how the royals work, they are given their duties and stick to them.

MawBroonsback Tue 04-Jun-19 16:38:58

How was that a lapse of manners?
