The epitome of cocky I was frankly disgusted by his behaviour outside Leeds Crown Court.
He is an obnoxious individual who seems to think he is above the law.
Beneath contempt more like.

Ticking bird - well said you. It is beyond weird that so many people make such crass comments. YOu people who dislike Tommy, can you not read what you are saying? You are literally insulting others just because they dont agree with you and worse still, they like a person you dont like and worse still, you can NOT say why you dislike Tommy Robinson. It never ceases to shock me that so many people can be so crass and stupid when entering a discussion forum.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:03:50

Why dont you find out why the Armed Forces like him? I know and can prove it.

Blondiescot Sun 07-Jul-19 14:39:31

Greenpen - see ya! I want my grandchild to grow up in a country which is welcoming and tolerant of all, irrespective of race, nationality, religion etc etc.

Lessismore Sun 07-Jul-19 13:53:37

I don't think some people understand the word defendants to be honest.

For one that certain areas are muslim. This is Great Britain. Certain communities, particularly in Bradford and Luton live outside of British law but follow Sharia Law only.this is a common, and in this case, scaremongering technique.
I wish some people would wake up to the fact that “Tommy Robinson’s” contempt of court actually risked prejudicing or overturning the convictions in question. Helping the defendants, get it? ?
Our judicial system may be a mystery to many, but has clearly defined boundaries which are there for a reason.
So can we have less hysteria and a realisation that being guilty of contempt of court is what is in question.

Joelsnan This is one of the best examples of "whatabout ism" that I've ever seen. Of course you won't see much outrage on here about child molesters and rapists because I suspect that 99.9% of us feel the same way about such crimes. This forum is for us to discuss topics, not just to proclaim that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 12:37:33

This whole thing gets too fanatical for my liking anyway and I don't do fanaticism in anything, it's mental.

Dinahmo Sun 07-Jul-19 12:34:31

I have one word for those of you who in anyway support TR. Rochdale.

Just cast your minds back to that case.

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 12:32:44

No, Whitewavemark2 but I just thought I'd put my own slant on the far-left for a change.

Lessismore For one that certain areas are muslim. This is Great Britain. Certain communities, particularly in Bradford and Luton live outside of British law but follow Sharia Law only. Regarding the grooming gangs I heard him interviewed and he spoke of political correctness and the need for transparency.

I’d like to know why you’re scared of civil debate and discourse? Why do you resort to shutting down discussion? Why is it ok for a smirking young Asian guy to throw a milkshake over Tommy Robinson but not ok for a tattooed skinhead to do the same to Jeremy Corbyn or a muslim speaker? I don’t condone either but the self righteous so assured of their moral superiority seem to think one’s funny and the other’s a crime. GoneGirl tells posters on here to F... off and is applauded for her directness. Smacks of singing off the same hymn sheet but not knowing who’s conducting you and, more importantly, why?

Whitewavemark2 Sun 07-Jul-19 11:25:43

ev is this the right thread for your post? Only my last post was a comment on how all the strange lot come out of the woodwork when their far right March seems threatened?

Niobe Sun 07-Jul-19 11:22:36

Maw, grin grin
So true!

suziewoozie Sun 07-Jul-19 11:08:24

Ellan - not referring to your posts obviously

suziewoozie Sun 07-Jul-19 11:05:55

Visiting hours must be over now, so I’ll go home

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 11:00:22

JC leading the next government couldn't be any worse than what we have right now. A bit of the Marxist theory thrown in for good measure would soon liven things up.
If JC is 100% sure at remaining in the EU then my vote will go to him for the first time in my life !!

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 10:55:52

Whitewavemark2, I can remedy a " non far-left " argument if you like.
A late uncle of mine was a Communist and listening to what he had to say years ago puts a lot of things today in perspective. I often think of some of the things he spoke about such as divided wealth etc. He and aunty lived very frugally in a dump of a flat in Liverpool. They went on the Aldermaston marches with his pal, Michael Foot ( a distant relative of mine ) and also attended the " ban the bomb " marches. He was a brilliantly clever man.
His two sisters lived " behind the wall " in Berlin and he often passed through Checkpoint Charlie to see them.

Sadly there'll never be a classless society which is the ideology of a Marxist. Nor will there be public ownership of any private company.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 10:41:06

One stop beyond East Ham on the District Line hmm

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 10:37:37

Suziewoozie - Farage did not leave UKIP. Farage is a placeman created to stop UKIP from becoming a major force in opposition. Farage publicly slated and defamed Gerard Batten is a set-up by the Establishment. You see, if you create an opposition you can control - Farage BP - you destroy the opposition you may not be able to control > UKIP. The MSM was in on it... they lambasted UKIP and actually invented stuff to shut UKIP down while at the same time boosting Farage and BP at every turn of every day. Farage will sell out and will get his seat in the H of Lords.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 10:37:13

Well said Blondiescot and a welcome antidote to some of the total and distasteful tosh spouted by the likes of johno.

Oldwoman70 Sun 07-Jul-19 10:36:45

Johno You have asked on this thread and the other one whether GNs know why EDL was formed, yet have not replied when asked to enlighten us. I know why it was formed but wonder whether you actually do.

Blondiescot Sun 07-Jul-19 10:35:07

I am also very suspicious as to why so many Y-L supporters seem to have appeared from nowhere and jumped on this thread. How anyone can defend him is beyond me...he claims to be a "journalist", yet clearly has no knowledge of the law as regards reporting of court cases, which is taught to even the most junior of real journalists. If he really wished to expose the grooming of children (which, by the way, many posters on here have already condemned) - then why would he deliberately jeopardise the court case? His "supporters" on here accuse anyone who disagrees with him as being "sheeple" and being brainwashed by the mainstream media. I suggest they take a good long hard look in the mirror...

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 10:32:25

Tommy is a great guy. I love the thread which wants him shot. Oh my god?? Let me guess.... you love everyone of every colour and ethnic origin.. you will not accept any form of hate speech and get triggered if you hear it.. yet YOU want Tommy Robinson SHOT!!!!! If i dont laugh I will cry.

Lessismore Sun 07-Jul-19 10:30:25

Four days after Robinson was originally jailed for contempt of court, defence lawyers launched an application to discharge the jury – a move that would have forced a lengthy retrial or ended the grooming case completely

Please don't preach about violated girls. They very nearly saw the whole thing dismissed.

Lessismore Sun 07-Jul-19 10:25:53

I haven’t paid any particular attention to Tommy Robinson but on the few occasions I have heard him speak I have agreed with him

Which points do you agree with?
