Leave the bloke alone ??? .....if these dreadful people “got off” due to his “free speech”, I think most of us on Gransnet would be outraged.

Blondiescot Sat 06-Jul-19 10:16:31

Do you not realise how close he came to jeopardising that whole trial? The whole thing almost collapsed because of him and his stupid self-publicity seeking antics! If he really cared about bringing the perpetrators to justice, the last thing he should be doing is what he did! With freedom of speech comes responsibilities and consequences - which he is finding out now!

Leave the bloke alone . Do people not like the truth these days . What happened to the freedom of speech . At least he says it like it is .

??

Annofarabia Sat 06-Jul-19 09:59:19

That’s a really horrible thing to say about anyone.

suziewoozie Fri 05-Jul-19 23:54:30

He also has a string of other criminal convictions not related to the current issue

Eloethan Fri 05-Jul-19 23:48:47

Joelsnan He made public some of the contents of a trial which a judge had ordered should not be reported before the conclusion of a subsequent linked trial. So, instead of aiding the possible prosecution of alleged serious criminals, his activities could have resulted in the further trials being abandoned because of prejudicial pre-trial material being broadcast.

Perhaps rather than make comments that appear to support this man who you admit you "really don't know anything" about, you should acquaint yourself with the facts first.

suziewoozie Fri 05-Jul-19 23:42:49

His behaviour, videoing outside courts where trials were going on with reporting restrictions and posting the videos online, could have led to mistrials being declared. As a result guilty people could have walked free and victims would have been denied justice. That is why what he has done is so serious. There’s plenty more to say about him but this is why he’s now facing prison again

Joelsnan Fri 05-Jul-19 23:08:56

I keep seeing posts about this man and really do not know anything about him apart from him standing outside courts where members of (majority) male Pakistani grooming gangs were being tried and wondered what was wrong with that. Is he a paedophile, murderer, arsonist or robber for him to attract such evident hatred?

Anja Fri 05-Jul-19 21:58:51

Vile little man.

Blondiescot Fri 05-Jul-19 21:02:59

I hope he's jailed for it...and with a bit of luck, they'll lose the key and we never have to hear from Mr Yaxley-Lennon again!

Maggiemaybe Fri 05-Jul-19 19:08:30

Oh, I'm so pleased the judgement's gone against him.

He could so easily have scuppered that grooming trial, after all the hard work put into bringing it to court, and the bravery of the witnesses.

BlueBelle Fri 05-Jul-19 19:03:44

The lowest of the low hideous man needs locking up for a very long time

nanaK54 Fri 05-Jul-19 19:00:51

Detestable individual......

EllanVannin Fri 05-Jul-19 18:23:25

I'm surprised nobody hasn't shot him.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 05-Jul-19 18:15:41

He’s be found in contempt though.

MawBroonsback Fri 05-Jul-19 18:13:23

The epitome of cocky I was frankly disgusted by his behaviour outside Leeds Crown Court.
He is an obnoxious individual who seems to think he is above the law.
Beneath contempt more like.
