gillybob; yes, that is a very valid question and one that we have been debating [the difference with remainers and leavers being that we do question ourselves a lot]. It is mainly because I personally believe that the leave campaign was based on lies and misinformation; 3 out of 5 countries voted to remain; many issues were not discussed properly [eg Ireland] and that damaging a country's social and economic structure isn't democratic. Had I been given one valid reason why leaving the EU was a good thing for this country during the past few years I would reappraise my view, but, thus far that hasn't happened. I feel that Brexit has ruined many peoples lives and, as a democratic country I have the right to speak out for what I believe. A friend of mine, a remain voter now believes we should leave because of the vote even though he thinks it will be bad for the country. Personally I can't share that view. One of the leave campaigns arguments was that we needed to take back control and sovereignty, but we always had control of that but, if parliament is prorogued that isn't democracy at work; that's a dictatorship.
