You lost.
Get over it.

Does anyone seriously think that leaving with "No Deal" will be the end of anything? Do they not realise that it will be the beginning of a time of severe disruption, that in fact the Civil service has already made plans for this. Even the most ardent leaver must know that hard times are coming. And as for what might happen in Ireland I shudder to think.

Lessismore Wed 28-Aug-19 21:03:09

I can't stand this petty nonsense but I will take a peek to see if anybody can come up with actual hard evidence that they have been called ignorant, a racist, a bigot for making a choice at the ballot box.

Day6 Wed 28-Aug-19 21:06:16

In my personal experience those of us who voted to leave are now even more certain that it is the correct choice.

True.

I think message boards like this concentrate the angst. My remainer pals are not crying, frothing at the mouth or signing petition after petition to try to overturn the Leave outcome. They just want us to get on with it.

Remainer posters here would have you believe the abyss has finally opened up and it's the end of the world.! grin It hasn't and many of us believe new and exciting opportunities await. I also believe the EU will do a deal with the UK, maybe after November 1st which will be acceptable to all. Have Remainers even contemplated that?

elizasnan Wed 28-Aug-19 21:07:48

If remainers had 54 per cent of the votes I'm sure that would have been the last we heard of Brexit. Sad that 48 per cent cannot accept the result and all this bitterness and vitriol is the result

GagaJo Wed 28-Aug-19 21:08:35

Kandinsky, your attitude is childish and ridiculous. This isn't a disagreement or a game.

We're about to voluntarily enter a period of intense hardship and suffering. For some in the uk it follows a horrific few years due to austerity inflicted by the very people that caused the financial crisis. It will break a lot of the poor in the uk.

And you're gloating about 'winning'? You disgust me.

Lessismore Wed 28-Aug-19 21:09:53

So eliza, there are two types of people.....kind polite Remainers and bitter, twisted Leavers.

Absolute nonsense.

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 21:18:19

They don't believe that at all, Day6.

Well said, Trisher.

elizasnan Wed 28-Aug-19 21:22:00

Lessismore. The comments on here from remainers do not sound kind or polite

lemongrove Wed 28-Aug-19 21:24:02

Didn’t you get that the wrong way round Lessismore !

Opal Wed 28-Aug-19 21:26:16

Yep, that's what I thought!

crystaltipps Wed 28-Aug-19 21:29:57

There are some ignorant racists who are happy though... just sayin....

crystaltipps Wed 28-Aug-19 21:30:57

Like the one I know who hates Nigerians....
Don’t pretend they don’t exist...

elizasnan Wed 28-Aug-19 22:10:54

It would appear those who voted leave received the greater number of votes. The remainers fewer therefore they are fighting with everything they can to remain. Trying to thwart what the majority voted for

Opal Wed 28-Aug-19 22:13:57

I don't pretend they don't exist, but they are a very small minority. However, some biased GN remainers tar us all with the same brush ……. just sayin……..

quizqueen Wed 28-Aug-19 22:21:18

It's about time the Leavers seem to be getting their way; anyone would think they actually hadn't won the vote. All the Remainers are doing is encouraging the EU to give a bad deal and we know what Theresa said about a bad deal!

quizqueen Wed 28-Aug-19 22:28:17

EU law states you cannot negotiate a deal while still a member so we have to leave with no deal anyway. Theresa's deal was just a deal to talk about a deal during the 'transitional' period after we had given them a sh*t load of money and allowed their laws to still stand during that time. You can imagine how weak our hand would be then.

crystaltipps Wed 28-Aug-19 22:36:03

At least we will never have to listen to loony leavers whining on about the democratic will of the people and all their usual guff again. We all just lost our legal right to parliamentary representation.
Heil Bozo.

Opal Wed 28-Aug-19 22:39:59

No crystaltipps, we all just won our right for democracy to be upheld.

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 22:45:23

You obviously don't have a clue about the meaning of democracy. Sigh!

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 22:47:22

That's very true, crystaltipps. Every cloud has a silver lining, I guess. Hope they take responsibility when things go t*ts up!

Some of them seem to think we can all be friends again. I don't think so! I've seen for myself what their values are like.

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 22:48:45

Errmmm! The EU isn't on the verge of offering any deal. They'll probably glad to turn their backs and get on with being grown ups.

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 22:49:36

elizasnan, Have you seen some of the comments from those who voted leave? shock

lemongrove Wed 28-Aug-19 22:54:36

Hmmmm, ‘loony leavers’ and ‘I’ve seen for myself what their values are like’
You see, it’s childish insults like that from Remainers on GN
That posters such as Lessismore profess to never have seen in the last few years.?

growstuff Wed 28-Aug-19 23:02:27

So?

The OP is vile. It's difficult to understand why people gain pleasure from seeing others' despair.

Yes, I have seen the values of leavers and they're not mine. If you think that's insulting, there's not much help ...
