We're about to voluntarily enter a period of intense hardship and suffering. For some in the uk it follows a horrific few years due to austerity inflicted by the very people that caused the financial crisis. It will break a lot of the poor in the uk.

I think message boards like this concentrate the angst. My remainer pals are not crying, frothing at the mouth or signing petition after petition to try to overturn the Leave outcome. They just want us to get on with it.

Remainer posters here would have you believe the abyss has finally opened up and it's the end of the world.! It hasn't and many of us believe new and exciting opportunities await. I also believe the EU will do a deal with the UK, maybe after November 1st which will be acceptable to all. Have Remainers even contemplated that?

Even the most ardent leaver must know that hard times are coming. And as for what might happen in Ireland I shudder to think.

I didn’t want a no deal Brexit.
I expect that if we have a no deal Brexit that life will be difficult.
That isn’t what I wanted but I do still want to leave.
I have kept off the Brexit threads because of the bad feelings that are there in abundance.
