So all leavers. Assuming all the other political parties are supporting another referendum or remain,

Will you vote for a new type of hard right Tory party which will be culmination of the extreme hard right ambition or stay loyal to and send a message to the moderate Tory party in the new independent MPs.

Djanogly is my MP. I’d have so much respect for him if he did the right thing today.

Blimey a Tory has just walked across the chamber and sat with the Libs

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:45:34

Tories have LOST THEIR MAJORITY!!

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:47:22

Johnson continues to babble away -mostly rubbish

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:49:04

I see May is sitting next to Ken Clarke

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:53:34

Tory front bench looking very uncomfortable

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 15:54:33

That was a humiliatingly public way for Johnson to lose his majority WW!

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:55:02

Corbyn impressive

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:55:35

harmless couldn’t have done it better?

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:56:56

Johnson isn’t up to it is he?

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 15:59:17

This is why Johnson is losing it

Corbyn doing a good job. ‘This government is hiding from scrutiny. Not just a gov of chaos but a gov of cowardice’.

Johnson sounds like he’s debating at the Oxford Union. Corbyn sounds like he’s speaking to ordinary people at home. Wonder if Tories have underestimated him?

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:03:11

The Prime minister is now without a mandate or a majority.

He sounds about 19 still at university, that is the level of his debate. it is embarrassing

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 16:03:12

Corbyn is now able to play to his strengths. His speeches are noticeably stronger and more animated during this crisis.
Johnson looks shaken.

‘Corbyn impressive’ ......you have to be joking! Corbyn is never impressive in any way.
If Labour had a decent leader they would win a GE hands down, but as it is, no way.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:04:30

Ken Clarke laying it on -blimey!

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 16:04:37

Ken Clarke openly attacking Johnson now! Wow!

mostlyharmless Tue 03-Sept-19 16:05:22

Snap WW!

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:06:12

Dear oh dear the Tories must be getting more desperate by the minute

lemongrove Tue 03-Sept-19 16:07:50

A government can still continue without a majority, although if they want to pass bills which are ‘difficult’ ones, they won’t be passed.
A GE could be on the cards now, and I think the Conservatives would definitely win it.

lemongrove Tue 03-Sept-19 16:08:50

Ken Clarke is an excellent ranter, he never knows when to sit down.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:09:33

Anyway Ken Clarke delivers the coup de grace. Dismisses Johnson’s ‘knockabout’ performance and correctly identifies that the PM is dragging us to the cliff-edge. Johnson bumbles and yammers even more than usual in his response and offers nothing. He is defeated and he knows it.

Lessismore Tue 03-Sept-19 16:11:21

sorry, where can I see this please?

Lessismore Tue 03-Sept-19 16:12:46

Got it now.

lemongrove Tue 03-Sept-19 16:13:30

Switch your tv on Lessismore hmm

Whitewavemark2 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:14:50

Johnson has degenerated into a pile of waffle.
