Not fit for public office, never mind PM. NOT the way to behave in front of international press. Of course, NOT reported in the UK.

Just bizarre antics ...what next?

tanith Tue 10-Sept-19 07:43:15

Weirdo!

Grandad1943 Tue 10-Sept-19 07:53:36

He is displaying signs of severe mental stress.

Could well impact on his long term overall health unless the stress is relieved very soon I feel.

However, he most certainly will get little sympathy from me, as he has brought it all on himself by way of lies, promises that are impossible to keep and buffoonery.

ayse Tue 10-Sept-19 07:59:03

How embarrassing for all of us. Still at his public school antics and representing the worst this country has to offer on the international stage!

Sara65 Tue 10-Sept-19 08:02:37

On a frivolous note, I dreamt last night I was visiting him in some kind of hospital, where he was suffering from some sort of mental illness, he was hugging a teddy bear, and begging me to ask Tony Blair if he could return to parliament, when I woke up I felt quite sorry for him.

Grandad1943 Tue 10-Sept-19 08:10:39

Sara65,
???

Grandad1943 Tue 10-Sept-19 08:13:48

Perhaps he will ask Theresa May to stand in for him. ?

Riverwalk Tue 10-Sept-19 08:16:43

He looks seriously agitated and needing to 'get out of his skin' - he can barely stand still.

Fennel Tue 10-Sept-19 08:30:24

He's regressing to childhood - as you say Sara, needs to cuddle his teddy bear.

Gads. confused On impulse and in solidarity grin, I decided to do a search with the words, Trump's bizarre behavior, and found three references for the first week of September, alone! There were many, many more. Excerpts:

1) In a previous post, I mentioned how Anthony Scaramucci, Donald Trump’s short-lived communications director, is convinced that Trump’s mental state is deteriorating. As if on cue, Trump this week provided him with a huge piece of evidence in support of his thesis. I am talking about the bizarre Greenland episode."

2) Four weeks have passed since the El Paso Walmart shootings and Donald Trump's incredibly insensitive response. During this period the nation has witnessed multiple episodes of Trump's bizarre behavior. His judgment -- always questionable -- has evaporated. As a consequence, many Americans have concluded that he is incapable of fulfilling the duties and responsibilities required of the President of the United States.

3) This week we discuss Trump's bizarre behavior at the G7

Not one to defend Boris but this is clearly doctored.
What do you expect from spoof sites such as skwawkbox?

Anniebach Tue 10-Sept-19 08:46:04

Swawkbox ? Mid Wales Mike

Teetime Tue 10-Sept-19 09:01:02

Well said MawB.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 10-Sept-19 09:02:47

Having watched the speeches on the News......this is just doctored "propaganda"

Anniebach Tue 10-Sept-19 09:06:28

Always is from Swawkbox

Grandad1943 Tue 10-Sept-19 09:08:33

Doctored? Anyone who has witnessed Johnson in public in recent days can see that his behaviour has become ever more bizarre.

He is demonstrating clear signs of severe stress. No one needs any fake news website to tell than that. ?

Gonegirl Tue 10-Sept-19 09:32:57

Is that it? Just a speeded up video of him flexing his arms. Probably calming his nerves.

Why would you even bother to find that on the net, leave alone watch it? hmm

Gonegirl Tue 10-Sept-19 09:34:40

He is displaying signs of severe mental stress.

Er - yes!!! I think he might be. He's taken on a helluva job and getting no help or support from anyone around him.

Such a daft comment to make.

Gonegirl Tue 10-Sept-19 09:36:45

I don't know the ins and outs of Brexit - far from it. But I can't help wondering if he actually had a plan, which others seem bent on ruining for him. Maybe proroguing was the only way for him?

Or do we want the rest of the stupid government to ramble on for another three years?

Gonegirl Tue 10-Sept-19 09:37:50

Gagajo were you really that bored?

Smileless2012 Tue 10-Sept-19 09:49:37

Like her or not, who can deny TM's strength of character and resilience especially if BJ really is displaying signs of stress after just a few weeks in the job.

Lessismore Tue 10-Sept-19 09:53:03

I am not a fan, but " nutter" isn't great.

I believe he is not up to the job and is unwell.

watching him speak in front of the police was excrutiating

NotSpaghetti Tue 10-Sept-19 09:56:15

I think some of you are looking at the (obviously) doctored repeating video.
I think GagaJo meant us to scroll down to the RTE version.

I don't think that's doctored.
And it may not be as bad (!) but it does show a profound lack of respect and implies a lack of interest in the seriousness of the situation.

varian Tue 10-Sept-19 09:59:46

I'm not a fan of Jeremy Hunt who was a dreadful Health Secretary, but he seemed to be doing a better job at the Foreign Office and I think he would at least have looked and acted a bit more like a PM should.
