Liz Truss admits to multiple arms sale breaches - and says there could be more...
The UK has breached government commitments not to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia at least three times. Liz Truss says these are “administrative errors” even though they are likely to be against international humanitarian law.
I find this rather cavalier approach to human life shameful. Other than writing to her/the government/local MPs what can we do?
In August this year, 236 Yemenis were killed, and there were 20,000 bombing “missions”. One bomb fell on a mosque, one apparently fell on an ordinary family gathering to eat together, there have been bombs on weddings and funerals. Why can’t we see that we should not be selling bombs to SaudiArabia?
What can I do?
