I maybe cynical but the Wags do like a lot of media attention. Maybe they have not been in news lately.

I have no sympathy for either party who clearly have more time on their hands than they know what to do with.Had Mrs R sent out personal / top secret info to a 'chosen few'? then more fool her but I believed it to be no more than bored female too much money /too much time on their hands female chit chat. These two deserve each other.

I'm just surprised that nobody seems to have considered that the 'insta' account may have been hacked by journalists and the stories sold on by them.
Its not as though it hasn't happened before where that particular newspaper is concerned - or did that only relate to mobile phones?

I wouldn’t like to pick an argument with any of the WAGs. They are, after all, just the attractive women that the footballers like to have on show. Who cares about their differences?

I like the name but that's all. I couldn't be less interested in any footballer or their wives.

I’ve never heard of any of these people! Maybe I’ve just got a more fulfilling life that keeps me occupied so much so that I don’t have time to read about them nor do I care!

Oh I absolutely admire CR, she took her man on from a very young age and has stood by him.
To be fair we don’t know the ins and outs of what really goes on.
She manages everything remarkably well.
Kudos to her.

Because they are married to famous footballers doesn’t mean these women are bird brained ( although they may be.)
It’s upsetting to think that somebody you know well socially is leaking all your stories/information/thoughts to The Sun or any other paper, so hats off to her for setting a trap.
If Vardy likes publicity so much then she has now got it in spades.....even if it’s all negative.

These two bird-brained WAGs have blown a straightforward spat out of all proportion because they're married to a couple of massively overpaid footballers and therefore have access to squillions.

Well, access to the money until they get ditched for a younger model that is......

I've been away all week and not seen a single news item (it's been lovely!) but was intrigued enough to look up this story. I didn't know of any of the main protagonists but all I can say is Mrs Rooney is no bimbo. Fair play to her.

Weeping and distressed? This is Rebekah Vardy we're talking about? Using the 'I'm seven months pregnant and could do without the stress' card. Don't be fooled. She won't be doing any weeping.

It was a good mood lifter in the week. Colleen is wholesome looking which helps. Bring it on in these dark times

Colleen seems to be unable to control the silly Wayne and appears to be just hanging on for the money. He seems to be totally unprincipled

Hasn't she got 4 or 5 children with him? She can’t be in it for the money, she’s got a few lucrative little deals of her own going on in tv and columns and she would get more money from a divorce than she could ever spend so I don’t think it is the money. I think she must love him. Or it’s for the kids.

I don't know why anyone here bothers to speculate about the rights and wrongs of all this or who is likeable and who is not. None of us know these people. I speak as one who has someone very famous as a family member and there's been so much rubbish written about them over the years, so much by people who think they know them from what they've gathered from the press. It's all speculative nonsense and best left alone and ignored.

This takes me back. Having grown up in Southport it was risqué and wonderful to go to 'nightclubs' in Liverpool...probably old disused warehouses near the dock road. Places called 'The Babalou' and 'The Knitsbridge' and 'Uglies'. I was there once when a minder approached and asked would you like to dance with Mr ****, a Liverpool player, at the time!!

I'd go with my friends when we were 16/17 years old before we became boring and went onto uni...in my case, Durham Uni...a world away, no more fun but lots of scenery not to mention Lindisfarne!!

However, my point...at the Liverpool Scene were many professional glitter girls. They were beautiful and manicured but seemed to be on the prowl for a meet-up with a footballer...always present due to LFC and EFC.

Mrs Rooney however, according to the media met W Rooney at school and was admired and followed by him.

Perhaps now a WAG but maybe only protecting the life she's found herself with.

Unfortunately this ‘drama’ tells us what we need to know about social media. CR announced that the information was sent from RV account. RV has said that at least ten people have access to her account, all have the passwords, this is how today’s celebrities work they have a team of people operating their ‘insta’ and ‘facebook’ accounts Although it’s all about ‘insta’ now. I do not know the truth of what has happened but two things are sticking out for me, first is why would CR choose a time when RV is heavily pregnant that’s just not good regardless of what has happened, the second is that these so called celebrities live and thrive off news fed to the media either by themselves or others, they set up photo opportunities, ‘paparazzis’ are tipped off by their own staff then they complain about an invasion of privacy, they want everyone to find the most boring thing they do the most exciting thing ever and do not seem to be able to live mentally healthy without the desire for fame and popularity CR included, I don’t buy the whole I’m just an innocent next door girl from a housing estate in Liverpool, she stays with a man who has repeatedly humiliated herself and her children; staying with a serial philanderer just to give the children a dad is just not right, what is this ‘dad’ teaching his sons with regard to respecting women? Okay mini rant over, ultimately they have what they all crave which is all of us talking about them!

Colleen fell in love with Wayne , long before he was a multimillionaire footballer. She is the only genuinely likeable girl in all this. Thats only my opinion.
