we had Harry all over the "news" earlier now his wife has joined in with the whinging about how hard their life is!! Honestly ..they should have to live the lives of millions in this country and then they would know how HARD life can get .Why is it NEWS anyway? If its so hard they can always walk away .

Apparently she's existing not living

Bloody hell arent we all! Except H&M are CHOSING to be working parents and could retire tomorrow of they wanted to! The rest of us have no CHOICE but to work till we drop!

Anniebach Sun 20-Oct-19 14:01:50

Good grief, they are brilliant at playing the media, they got criticised and now are doing the ‘poor me’ game for the public.

Six weeks? My husband took a week out of his annual leave when our girls were born .

Apparently she's existing not living and taking it one day at a time. I have to say that comment made me angry angry

Massive faux pas to announce the six week break for family time. Not clever shock Do they not imagine, clearly they don't, that many families would love to do that too, but simply don't have the means.

SirChenjin Sun 20-Oct-19 13:15:32

Ahh right - got you now.

notanan2 Sun 20-Oct-19 13:14:27

Of course he didnt SirChenjin, hence the hmm

First they were yelping about the environment preaching about what they dont practice

Now she is bemoaning the difficulties of parenthood as if shes just a normal mum, and then showing that actually she doesnt have to "get on with it" like the rest of us!

SirChenjin Sun 20-Oct-19 13:10:53

Almost forgot the little hmm

SirChenjin Sun 20-Oct-19 13:10:27

Your DH got 6 weeks off work when you had your children? How fortunate for you both that he worked for such a progressive company at a time when paternity leave didn’t exist.

notanan2 Sun 20-Oct-19 13:07:09

I see they’re now taking a six week break from all duties to have some family time.

Just like DH and I did when we had young children hmm

SirChenjin Sun 20-Oct-19 13:04:48

I see they’re now taking a six week break from all duties to have some family time.

When people go on about not letting the public see the baby it confuses me. They released photos of the baby the exact same amount that William and Kate did.
A lot of posters are treating what the papers print that they have said as fact.
They print a headline that says they have said they don't announce the birth when it's nothing of the sort. It's made up from imaginary sources .
Yet people keep repeating this nonsense as fact.

notanan2 Sat 19-Oct-19 22:44:33

Baggs are you for real? Yemen etc? Any bells no?

GagaJo Sat 19-Oct-19 22:34:27

To be honest, I think H&M would be just as well withdrawing from royal life and moving abroad.

The gutter press are shocking and disgusting. H genuinely feels they killed his mother. He should leave and start a new life elsewhere.

How privileged are we compared to the lives of those starving children we see on our TVs everyday

bridgeit, could you expand on this, please, because I'm shocked to hear that there is news of starving children on TV every day. I had thought, via ourworldindata.org, that famine had practically been eliminated except in war zones.

I cannot verify your claim for myself as we have no TV.

Bridgeit Sat 19-Oct-19 19:07:24

Yes I will do Paddyann, apologies if any offence caused.
Sometimes. opinions are probably not best shared on social media.

Bridgeit Sat 19-Oct-19 19:03:50

In reply to Annibach

Bridgeit Sat 19-Oct-19 19:02:34

Another poster is able to reply, not so the RF, etc

SirChenjin Sat 19-Oct-19 18:56:23

That to Bridgeit

Anniebach Sat 19-Oct-19 18:55:55

That’s unfair Bridgeit

I have disagreed with paddyann over her taking a commission but she said it was a one off .

Don’t criticise Megan but criticise a fellow poster

SirChenjin Sat 19-Oct-19 18:55:50

Yeah, still not making any sense there.

paddyann Sat 19-Oct-19 18:55:47

Bridget ,we were asked by an old client whose business we still have to take the photographs ,we didn't sell any of them .We handed over the negatives and the copyright .
We did the same thing with the photographs we took for him of celebrities and politicians ...its called keeping your clients happy .We ALL do jobs we dont particulary want to when we work for ourselves .Now LET IT GO,

Bridgeit Sat 19-Oct-19 18:55:16

Another old saying: Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, (well not on social media )

SirChenjin Sat 19-Oct-19 18:49:16

Who’s boss?

Bridgeit Sat 19-Oct-19 18:47:18

If you slag off your boss on here, you run the risk of loosing your job, but that’s entirely up to the individual, but why shoot yourself in the foot ?
