Excuse the swearing grin

Matt cartoons in the Telegraph are great. Such talent.

My father adored Matt. First thing he looked for when he got his paper.

I agree, I've no idea how they manage to think these gems up day after day

Please let them think again

Urmstongran Sat 02-Nov-19 18:05:54

Sorry - one more. I couldn’t resist!

Matt cartoons in the Telegraph are great. Such talent. How DO these cartoonists come up with something funny & topical every day?

I love all these! The great British sense of humour. In a sense, this current impasse is having the wonderful effect of bringing both sides, leave and remain, together, all of us united in watching the government make wallies of themselves. Does that sound mad?

Best one yet, trisher!

Good advice for all of us!

I choked on my coffee when I read the Enterprise one. Of course it's my favorite, too, being a "Trekkie" and all. grin It's so nice to see people from both sides on here laughing. Truly lifted my spirits tonight.

This thread is hilarious!
Thank you Opal
Unfortunately I can't seem to copy and paste.

But did you hear about the couple who voted Brexit but are so fed up that we didn't leave the EU on 31st October as promised that they are leaving the UK instead.

They are emigrating to France today.

This marvellous election poster was indeed produced by the "brexit party"

Gonegirl Wed 30-Oct-19 11:58:54

Love the one on *Opal's^ opening post.

Answer - YES!!!

growstuff Wed 30-Oct-19 11:53:58

Is that a spoof, varian. I can't believe it's for real!

growstuff Wed 30-Oct-19 11:53:05

OK, maybe not 100% Brexit, but Mark Francois is such a rabid Leaver ...

varian Tue 29-Oct-19 11:45:59

Is this an ad for Durex?

varian Tue 29-Oct-19 11:42:48

Have you done brexit yet Boris?"

Thank you, Opal for starting this thread, and to all the other contributors. It's great to have a laugh before returning to the confrontational rhetoric on the other threads.

AllotmentLil Mon 28-Oct-19 22:21:51

Thanks Opal, and to everybody else who has contributed a joke - we all need cheering up! grin

Opal Mon 28-Oct-19 22:14:52

Oh painting, I feel so sorry for you, your post says sooooo much about you, far more than you will ever be able to say about me.

Happy to have started a bit of light-hearted fun for everyone else grin

Pamphlets have been part of our history since the 17th century. Possibly even longer. I generally find them funny and quite clever even if they are poking fun at me.

Actually more interesting than I thought!

I guess they could be seen as an incitement to violence but I’d never thought about it in that way. I just see it as a way to put your point across using humour.
