The election is about Brexit all other issues are secondary, as for a majority Labour government, that is highly unlikely with Corbyn as leader. However it is highly possible that he leads a coalition for while, how long that lasts is another question.

So if the Tories don’t get a working majority it’s hard to see how parliament is going to function at all.

I am always amazed that there are women on this forum who vilify other women as only achieving high office in their careers etc by sleeping with men. In this day and age, nothing could be further from the facts or truth in regard to such statements as we have seen in this thread and others.

Women make their way to high office in the present day by way of hard dedicated work and gaining the qualifications necessary to take them to the top.

There is still what is known as the "glass ceiling" which can still in some circumstances prevent women from achieving the ultimate Boardroom positions, but that I believe is now slowly breaking down.

I am fortunate that within my own company over the years I have seen women join our workforce in low administration roles and then through their natural abilities go on to active the highest accreditations in industrial safety and therefore lead many others in that roles.

That is the way it should be, and I find it very sad that it takes a male to say that on a forum such as this.

Does Diane Abbott have a history of suing people? Considering the amount of abuse she gets, I wouldn't blame her.

How about Amber Rudd? who has been told by the Advertising Standards Watchdog that she lied in a series of apparent independent reporting in a national newspaper.

Not only did she try to deceive the public into believing that the so called features were from an independent source when in fact they were produced on her insistence by the civil servants in the DWP, but the features, over a string of articles, contained a number of lies.

The ASA has looked at a number of claims in the articles and have found them to be false.

The watchdog has been FORCED TO ADVISE THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT TO TELL THE TRUTH.
