People take all sorts of things to the papers, tooting. That's where they get their news from, whether it's from companies, political parties, charities or people wanting to publicise something they think is wrong, or to puff off some achievement of a family member. When we had a neighbourhood dispute with someone who wanted to nick a piece of apparently ownerless land in our small community to build on one of the first things we did was go to the local press.

Politics pervades our everyday lives, it's ridiculous to say that people should never use the press for political ends. It's a way of 'talking' to the rest of one's community about problems, and triumphs...

I am too tired to muscle in but I do like to take part....

The mother actually took it to her local paper, the evening paper that is sister paper of to the Yorkshire Post. We cannot know why she did it but I can imagine that to her, it was local.

Isn't the full moon meant to induce madness? Perhaps all our Johnson lovers will be affected and go and vote Labour today ?

That is a very laborious and cumbersome process....ask those whose relatives and babies have died about the cover up. Crude though it might be you have to admit it had results.

The Conservatives have put a huge poster up at the entrance to a local crematorium; this follows on from putting one at the entrance to a local National Trust property. Have they no shame?

it was Johnson that wrote an article about the murder; the victims father is distraught that Johnson used his son's death for political gain.....that is why he is talking to the press. How bloody insensitive some of you are....….
