By the way, can anyone fill me in with how much of a pension he will get from the EU, even though he was rarely there? The people I respect are MP's like Dominic Grieve who left their jobs that they had devoted their lives to on principle because they despised Johnson; ditto those Labour MP's that left the party because they didn't like the way the party was heading. They had everything to lose and nothing to gain but stood up for what they thought was right.

Labaik I could not agree more- he rarely visited Brussels for meetings and was well paid for shirking.

He sacrificed his political career? I don't remember him ever being elected to parliament. I agree about his influence and have always said he's not the lovable jolly chap he makes himself to be but someone far more cunning and dangerous. He has been taking home a wage for being an MEP and hardly sitting in Brussels. He supports right wing groups in Europe and speaks at their rallies. He shafted the people who paid to represent his party company. He's now sucking up to Trump, yet again. If we don't mention him, maybe it's because some of us want to try to forget him, just as we walk out of the room if he's on the tv or switch the radio off when we hear his voice because he nauseates us.

You used the term 'racist' which usually refers to humans and that's what I took it to mean unless you meant something else.

If he is a racist how come the Brexit Party has at least or possibly more diversity in its candidates than other parties? He is concerned (as are many) about numbers entering the country which has nothing to do with race.

He is a nasty racist who has caused untold damage.
