I am glad BBC being investigated. They have been found out.

Agreed, jura2. DH and I have said for a long time that her reporting is biased. Find it hard to understand how she's got away with it.

She has got away with it because there is an ingrained pro-tory , pro-brexit bias in the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation going back many years. They are also very pro-FPTP and anti-PR.

I do know that some Tories accuse the BBC of a liberal/left bias and I think this relates to the social attitudes of the London based journalists which are progressive - pro equal marriage, strong on opposing racism and sexism etc. But this can co-exist with a right-wing bias on all other aspects of policy, especially brexit.

If in doubt, check out the CVs of their political commentators and producers.

To be honest, varian, we found her to be anti-Tory and anti-Brexit.

I will give you an example of the BBC bias.

We must have seen at least a dozen "voxpops" where the reporter went to a Labour leave seat and spoke to a man in the street or in Wetherspoons who said "we voted leave. Why aren't we out yet?"

Did anyone ever see a vox pop from a,Tory Remain seat ?

Yet there were more Tory Remainers than Labour leavers but it did not suit the agenda of the BBC to even mention them.

Anti-tory and anti-brexit at the BBC and it's continuing even now.

Must say I have always thought that although a good, intelligent interviewer and political pundit, Kuennesberg seems to be anti -Conservative and anti- Brexit and lets it show.Not that I care one jot.

Can I have some examples of that?

The BBC is left wing and pro remain in my opinion. And don’t bother to tell me it’s because I’m not pro equal marriage, or I’m sexist or racist, because I’m not and I would take great exception to anyone who made such an insinuation.
Jura’s comment does not prove that LK is right wing, it merely reflects jura’s opinion. As I didn’t see LK today, I can’t express an opinion.

Too worried about the British. Although I don't know why. The British seem to be happy to kowtow to the landed gentry who have a stranglehold on the country.

The BBC is patently bias supports the government yet more evidence.

I never cease to be amazed at the ability of the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation to give platforms to ultra-brexit obsessives who no-one would otherwise ever have heard of, such as the "Spiked" so-called journalist they had on "Any Questions" this week.

Laura K and Bojo are best buddies ,she is his mouthpiece on the BBC.Any one who cant see that needs to do a Cummings a wee visit to specsavers!

The preposterous suggestion that the ultra right wing brexiter Charles Moore, a former editor of the Spectator and the Telegraph, should become the Chairman of the BBC at the behest of the Vote Leave government, fortunately caused an outcry.

Moore appears to know nothing about broadcasting and says he doesn't watch television. He has now said he will not be putting his name forward but watch this space.

I guess this thread still has relevance

When the BBC and Sky cover #COVID19 failures in countries like the US, Brazil etc they highlight the mistakes the leaders and governments have made in those countries.
WHY CAN’T THEY DO THIS FOR THIS COUNTRY’S GOVERNMENT AND JOHNSON?
