I have just agreed monthly direct debit £4.30..if I can get my DH to join he will be £2.20, it's an age reduction.

Why would you knowingly back a looser ?
Have you seen the polls this morning in regard to labours popularity
Wrong Baily has stated that Corbyn ran a 10/10 campaign, I don't know where she was on election night ?
Not that it will mean anything ( because Wrong Baily will win) but the more intelligent members of the Labour Party are horrified at her comments.

Just a Maizie, I am thinking about it, and not decided yet.

I have just joined, I am Scottish but live in in another EU country, I am moving back to UK (England) so that is why I won't be joining SNP . I am not returning for any political reasons but I dread the next 5 or even 10 years with this current government. So I am now a labour party member and will vote in the leadership and it will not be for R.Long-Baily

It’s £25 now isn’t it? Gone up from £3. I won’t join but will be interested to see how the membership votes when the results come in on 4 April.

I'm considering it. Perhaps it's time I nailed my colours to the mast.

I left the Labour Party after Corbyn was elected leader, I had been a member for over 50 years. I rejoined after the election
to vote for the new leader, if Rebecca Long Bailey wins the leadership I will resign my membership again.

I rejoined it recently. I was in it a while ago, but left over the Iraq war, and never really felt able to join again until now.

I do think it is important that there is a credible opposition, and would like to have a say in that.

I have just looked at the post/discussion about the Labour Party Leadership candidates and it is now 30 pages long so I hope this does not repeat anything. I am wondering if anybody has decided to join the Labour Party in order to vote for the new leader. In order to get a credible opposition party on it's feet maybe it needs everybody to take some action.
