The photos of Meghan were taken by her own photographer and issued from their Instagram page, carefully timed to upstage Camilla.

Apparently she had agreed not to clash with Camilla's official engagement which had been planned for months.

This country welcomed Megan with joy in our hearts and she threw it back in our faces. Now I just want them gone. They are patronising and selfish.
They could have done so much good but have chosen to follow the path of self aggrandisement.
Now we need to gather up and nurture William and Kate who must be feeling the strain. Thankfully Kate has a supportive family behind her.

Let’s face it. Pictures of Meghan will sell a lot more copies and garner much more interest than ones of Camilla, however worthy the subject she is speaking about.
Do we ever read how many items of Camilla’s clothes have sold out after an event? No. Whereas the blue Victoria Beckham dress M wore the other night is unavailable now I believe.

Which is a sad reflection on our society isn't it, that there's more interest in what M wears than the issue of domestic abuse. Could explain why M's popular with some I suppose.

I refuse to look at pictures or articles about Megan. I swerved their wedding too. If everyone did that they'd soon get the message.

It would only upstage Camilla if the pictures are printed , people gawp at them and then gossip about them. I heard Camilla's speech on the radio it was ok. She looked ok and was wearing her favourite old boots. Great.

Glamour, money and tinsel town is more important than domestic abuse?! Well, there you go, how sad is that! Humiliation is clearly this horrible woman's middle name especially where RF are concerned. To think both they and we welcomed her unconditionally with open arms only to realise later that from day one it was all just one big publicity stunt to further her own agenda! Ever been had?! This latest trick should be the last straw, HM should strip them of their titles, PC should withdraw his 2 million quid. and security should be up to them. Well the press publish the pics as they know people will gawp at them and bitch about her smile/ clothes/ face / thoughts etc. Plenty of examples on here. They wouldn’t print them if the public didn’t take note.

@merlotgran I had heard of Caroline Flack long before Love Island, she was involved in a lot of shows before that (which I didn’t watch by the way). It seems to me that the hate towards Meghan is hugely disproportionate. I don’t think they planned to move abroad from day one, I believe that the press criticism and online hate since Archie was born have driven them to this. Harry deserves to have a life of his own choosing. He didn’t ask to be a royal and he’s putting his family first. I wish them every happiness.

Harry never complained about press coverage before he met Megan. So many happy photos of him at Sentebale or with military activities.

I’m sure he’s complained before, certainly after his nazi costume and getting naked in Vegas?

Perhaps he was just happy at sentebale and doing military work- the press was secondary. It’s the press who stopped his military career after all by reporting where he was.

I have never watched Suits, Meghan’s former show, but my sister started watching it after she and Harry got together. She said that the way Meghan looked at, and behaved with, the chap who was her love interest in the show, was exactly how she looked at and behaved with Harry.
I suppose real life is just another role really.
