I can acknowledge that with absolutely no vile hatred for her (or anyone for that matter) 'Loose cannon' isn't really about being out of control, its more about not having the self awareness to see the consequence of your actions. And Harry does seem to have that trait .

This is an extract from a piece in the Guardian today. Whilst most of the article is both supportive and understanding as to why M & H have taken their decision, I think the final paragraph is succinct and illustrates how many of us feel about them:

They could have continued in self-isolation, far away in LA. But in the time of Covid-19 their actions look both petty and grandiose. Some much vaunted emotional intelligence would be appropriate from the couple now. The privacy they desire would be more achievable if they undertook a period of extended silence.
