Acknowledging the little big things

We can often be grateful/appreciative of things others do and do not manage to let them know. On this occasion the BBC decided to report more than the basic facts - it brought a tear to my eye.

Me too. It must have been very frightening as these situations can get out of hand so quickly.

Brought a tear to my eye too. As you say must have been very frightening for them all. The mother was marvellous at mentioning how much the smallest things like bending down sown to talk to her son made her so very grateful of all those involved in helping them.

Heartening story, and these types of incident can so easily go awfully wrong, we all have read of small children being swept away in the blink of an eye. Poor woman, what a nightmare, but how kind of her to detail the individual acts which combined to save her and her son. Good news and a nice story for a change!
