I’m not surprised you’re laughing Whitewave, you couldn’t make it up! How can he possibly not know nurses already do vaccinations?

If pharmacists are not allowed to do vaccinations, who does do the vaccinations advertised by Boots and other chemists every Autumn? Nearly every chemist shop has a notice in the window in Autumn, offering walk in flu vaccinations. Anyone know the answer? I’m puzzled now.

But it was reported over two months ago so has been knocking around for a while now.

I don’t understand. Nurses already administer vaccines, every year during flu vaccination time. So do pharmacists, you can walk into Boots and other chemists during flu vaccination season, pay £10 and the pharmacist vaccinates you.
And of course, nurses give injections all the time in hospitals. I have been vaccinated by a nurse many times. What’s all the fuss about?

I think Boris should resign as soon as he can as it seems obvious to me that he is not a well man. Whether you like him or not the burdens that the UK are under at the moment would test the strength of someone much fitter than him.

Very true! One of the mothers of one of my students is about as Conservative as one could be. At one point, she even worked for CCHQ.

I have been tutoring her son for a while and I'm very familiar with her political views. She always wants a chat after out Zoom lesson and I nearly fell off my chair a couple of weeks ago, when she said that really wouldn't be able to vote Conservative with Johnson in charge. She didn't have anything good to say about any of the current cabinet ministers.

She is indeed just one person. Whether her opinion is warped or not is also the opinion of one person. If you were to meet the person concerned and accuse her of being warped, I think you'd find yourself running away with your tail between your legs.

The reason I mentioned her (and I know it's anecdotal) was because she is one of the most Conservative (in all senses) person I think I've ever met. Before the 2019 GE, her garden and surrounding fields hosted many blue banners and she wouldn't have heard one word against the Conservatives or Johnson.

She's still Conservative to the core, but she is concerned that Johnson's declining popularity will be a vote loser. She certainly hopes Johnson will resign, although doesn't know who could take over.

That holiday home might have been mine. We were instructed to pitch a tent with a strong light inside so that local gossips could speculate on the identity of the evening occupants, we had to rent babies of various sizes so that dates couldn't be proven if photos were taken and we had to employ various cleaners and instruct them to tell differing stories in the local pub so that all sides could leak the story of their choice.
