Well that was a disgraceful exhibition. Sir Lindsay Hoyle even had to intervene.

A deal will be struck with the EU in my opinion. There’s a lot of posturing going on at the moment.
I hope that there is a deal, I hope that the blustering from both sides is last minute game playing
I have made my feelings known regarding the present Government on another thread.
I hope it will urmistongran, because the alternative is a disaster. But unfortunately I'm not as optimistic as you.
I've strayed off topic a bit, so returning to the OP: whatever happens, it won't be because Johnson has done a good job. He's a liability.
Not sure that the people who work in the fishing industry would agree! Bit like the corner shop, of no regard in the big scheme of things! I'm surprised that conservation is of no concern on here?! Well, actually, perhaps I'm not, after all, money and big business override everything!!
Not sure that Jeremy Hunt wants the top job! He certainly regards losing to Boris as ' missing a bullet ' ! While I like J.H, I don't have think he's tough enough! My choice? Definitely Michael Gove.
Deal or no deal, Johnson will still be an embarrassment at PMQs.
Jaberwok I grew up in the largest white fishing port in the UK and have fishermen in the family.
Like everyone else they think their industry is vital, and of course they want to keep their jobs. They have an inexplicably loud voice in all of this, its a mystery to me. I expect its because Gove's father had a fish processing business in Aberdeen? Which Gove lied about during the referendum, so much so that his father took to the local press to disagree with what he said.
But don't think that they are paragons of conservation. The skippers make big money from fishing, that's the bottom line.
)You seem to have lost a B Jabberwok. Totally irrelevant I know ). But please not weasel Gove
I am also in the anyone but Gove camp ?

I truly don't think so- if the UK insists of having all the advantages and none of the cost or responsibilities- the EU will walk. And when we need support in times to come- we will have our comeuppance- bit time. As they will totally normally prioritise each other with shortages of anything from veg to medicines, and with protecting each other with terrorism, etc. And they certainly will not bend over backwards helping to stop migrants crossing the Channel.
There is a lot of posturing from the UK, the EU position is cristal clear, and has been for a long time. Cristal.
Starmer was criticised by former Labour Home Office Minister Kate Hoey, who said: 'Keir Starmer likes to talk up his credentials as a human rights campaigner. However there is quite a lot of airbrushing of his CV going on here and the truth about his career outside politics is a good deal more complicated than this. Starmer defended IRA terrorists suing the British taxpayer for injuries they sustained after breaking out of prison, how he worked with disgraced solicitor Phil Shiner to prevent British troops from detaining a suspected Iraqi terrorist.'
Ms Hoey added: 'Of course everyone is entitled to legal representation, however, I am not sure where this fits Keir Starmer's frequently stated synopsis of his career as 'fighting for justice, standing up for the powerless and against the powerful'.
Perhaps not so innocent as some on here think. When the next General Election happens Joe Bloggs in the street will possibly think twice giving him their vote.
That'll be the same Kate Hoey MP who appeared with Nigel Farage during the Brexit referendum and was recently elevated to the peerage by Johnson? The one whose local Labour party asked for Labour to withdraw the whip from her? The one who wrote this in the Daily Mail?
Yes, that Kate Hoey.
No they wont firecrackers because most of us know about Starmers work prosecuting terrorists, we also know about Claire Fox and Johnsons failure to stop that appointment. Would you like to comment on Claire Foxs views on the IRA firecracker?
Acting under the instruction of Public Interest Lawyers, a now defunct firm run by disgraced human rights lawyer Phil Shiner, Starmer headed the legal team which sued the Government over a breach to Al-Jedda's human rights. In 2007 the House of Lords ruled the detention of the suspected terrorist was lawful, but that ruling was then overturned in 2011 by the European courts.
In 2017, Shiner was struck off the roll of solicitors after earning more than £1.6 million from an improper deal carving up fees from pursuing abuse claims against British troops.
Mark Tipper, whose brother Trooper Simon Tipper was killed in the Hyde Park bombing, said: 'Starmer has defended terrorists and violent criminals who break out of prison then sue the prison service, costing the taxpayer a fortune – that is clearly wrong.'
Joe Bloggs in the street, White Van man, army veterans won't forget this.

A few fish?! What an attitude to a decimated industry which given the chance could flourish as it once did before Ted Heath bargained it away in his desperation to join the Common Market. So Geenpeace are wrong to be concerned about the ecological damage being done by over fishing?! I know let's get a conservation deal with the EU which no one will police and every country flagrantly disregard! Bit like Tony Blairs deal over the CAP! Now wasn't that was a sucess? Ummm! Don't think we'll be falling into that trap again! There are other important things in life apart from money and big business !
Funny, I thought that it was the British fishermen who sold their quotas to other EU countries. Am I wrong?
Pretending the U.K. fishing industry is a paragon of conservation and never over fishes or leaves piles of plastic rubbish in the sea which harm marine life is hokum. The vast majority of U.K. fishing is in Scotland - so if they go Independent English fishing would be minuscule, and most of what they catch is exported - to the EU.
Anything on claire fox firecracker, I can reproduce her quotes if you like.
Yes, that's a quote from the same Daily Mail article. Any answer for Galaxy?
I think if you compare Johnson’s past professional life as a journalists knocking out a column for half an hour a week with Starmer’s job as a barrister I know which I find more admirable. Defence barristers often do not have a choice of who they defend, just because a barrister has to defend some horrible people - giving them appropriate legal advice - does not mean they approve of their actions in any way.
Thanks Alegrias, thought no one could hear me
'unhinged' I think is the word we are looking for...

Clair Fox is not the Leader of the Opposition she is not even an MP.
You are just trying to side track this thread now nice try.
Clare Fox....the woman who “doesn’t condone violence, but feels the Irish people should do whatever it takes to get their freedom”, in the Labour Party. Boris may be a bit cack handed at times, but as far as I know, has never stood up and stated he agreed with bombing people. I’m sure someone will correct me.
Let's not forget that Carrie Symonds was one of John Worboys youngest victims. Kier Starmer got some flack because of his refusal to prosecute Warboys.
