urm, you're winding us up again, aren't you?

UG no comments about BJ's towering presence, presenting a powerful, convincing speech and inspiring confidence?
Or, if you prefer, no comments, however specific and limited, about breaking international law?

If course it will go through Urm -as though there’s enough Tory MPs with honour to prevent it. ???.

Milligan’s read a script prepared by Starmer who is now self isolating due to the fact that one of his family have Covid. It was full of legalese and Milliband did well as an understudy.

Boris will ace this. He has the numbers.

And so what that Major, Blair and Brown are against the Bill? They are all lovers of the EU!

This Bill provides a much needed safety net. Without it the EU would not negotiate in good faith.

I’m hoping it carries.

Milliband is a bit older than last time he stood at the dispatch box and he has clearly learnt a lot. He just peaked too soon.

Johnson is a joke as a Prime Minister. This is just the latest example.

Why is it suddenly OK to flout the law as long as it's in a very limited and specific way?

Why should anyone bother to obey the law when the Government by this bill shows that it's "OK" to flout it!?

Like all legal documents you sign, it is always a good idea to read it first in case you find that you don't want to be bound by it.

Milliband spoke brilliantly. standing in for Starmer.

Long Covid plus just being found out for the lazy bag of hot air most of us always knew he was.

It was a real pleasure to hear Miliband after the bumbling nonsensical performance by Johnson. I did wonder if he had read his speech before. He sounded as if it was all new to him. This is not what I want my P.M. to sound like.
Where did he go ?

Whitewavemark2 Mon 14-Sept-20 18:27:31

Miliband was absolutely outstanding. He wiped the floor with Johnson.

Miliband comprehensively completely trashed Johnson’s proposed bill.

Harris27 Mon 14-Sept-20 18:25:42

Well said.

Have you ever seen such an example of hopeless squirming embarrassment as Boris Johnson's pathetic performance?
Well done, Ed Miliband for showing BJ as a useless apology for a PM!
