I think it is incredibly rude to get someone’s name wrong, intentionally or not.
The polite response to when this is pointed out would be an apology and a request to GNHQ to correct the OP.
As the culprit I suppose I had better put this to bed. I worked for many years with a lovely lady whose name is Preeti (correct spelling by the way) and is pronounced the same way as Priti. I did not realise there was an alternative spelling so I apologise for my cardinal sin to all those who are upset/angry about it. I would say GrannyGravy13 that I don't consider myself to be incredibly rude and would not deliberately do that. I will go and find my sackcloth to make amends.
