Anyone who did not expect more beaurocracy was not thinking straight, although it is worse than I expected.

Never mind it will all be worth it when we get the massive economic boost.

Most of the restaurants around us are doing take away meals and are using sea food and meats such as steak so they must be getting supplies more locally.
Although many more Brits are buying sea food from the Cornish fishermen I doubt the amount sold is as much as they were exporting.
Yesterday Johnson said to the Parliamentary committee that the U.K. obtains over 70% of medication from the EU and 40+% food from there. The only reasons most things are still available is because no loads are being stopped by U.K. customs at the moment and there is no need for all the paperwork needed by U.K. loads going into the EU. This is the choice of the U.K. Govt to waive the forms for EU loads, what happens when these are withdrawn after the extended period?

Urmstongran should not have voted "leave" because some politician gave her "a lovely feeling".

Of course they're still eating. Just not eating the foodstuffs we used to export to them. Because of the non tariff barriers that Leavers, and Johnson, and the UK Brexit negotiators brushed aside as being of no significance.

It's nothing to worry about, though, ladies. Because covid has meant that all the EU restaurants are closed and because they've closed everyone in the EU has stopped eating. It'll be fine once the pandemic is over and they all start eating again...

These fishermen are doing their best to mitigate the damage to their livelihoods caused by brexit.

There is nothing they are doing now that they could not have done when we were members of the EU.

You can choose how you want your crab Welshwife but you have to bear in mind weight and portions.

When the going gets tough the though get going. Nothing new in that farmers and others have been doing that for many years. It’s a way of getting “some” cash to live on.
