Wills and Harry rift blown out of proportion

I've thought all along that the so-called "feud" between the brothers has been exaggerated by the media. Brothers fall out as anyone with sons will tell you. Usually they make it up and everything is forgotten, but with Harry leaving the country and the press delighting in nasty gossip, a small disagreement has grown into all out war.
At least one reporter thinks as I do.

It happens trisher same on the political threads

And the relevance of this comment is? Honestly you can play RF bingo on any RF thread such is the predictable and tedious content ceaselessly and repeatedly churned through

Obsession with an individual isn’t mentally healthy though.

It is like stalking on line.

Yes on several threads

Groundhog Day still applies.

Funny isn't it how those who keep going on about how M&H should keep quiet and stay out of the public eye are the very people who keep resurrecting stuff about them??

Ha I wouldnt mind having the reputation that Oprah has.

Anniebach Sat 24-Apr-21 10:00:26

I agree on Meg’s acting, that dab of a tear ?

Smileless2012 Sat 24-Apr-21 09:45:13

No Oprah wasn't in Groundhog Day suziewoozie. She was brilliant in 'The Colour Purple' maddyone and I've wondered if her reputation as America's most sort after interviewer has been tarnished.

From the clips I saw I didn't think MM was much of an actor either lemongrove.

lemongrove Sat 24-Apr-21 09:41:08

Oh yes, Oprah feigning surprise shows us that she should never take up an acting role, whereas MM is a better actor than we thought.

Groundhog Day

Emily perhaps you could try to be a little less judgmental.

Smileless I agree about Oprah’s acting skills. I was assured by many on here of how good an actress she was previous to ‘the interview.’ I only saw snippets of it but I did see her ‘acting’ when she expressed surprise about the question about Archie’s skin colour. If she has now said she was surprised that the colour of skin issue was discussed, then I find that difficult to believe, as I find it equally difficult to believe that the questions to be asked weren’t discussed beforehand, as they are in all interviews of this kind. Yes, possibly Oprah is trying to row back, the flack from this interview can’t have done her reputation much good at all.

Anniebach Sat 24-Apr-21 09:32:35

Smileless nothing about that interview was convincing

Smileless2012 Sat 24-Apr-21 09:29:24

It was wasn't it Annie which is what makes me think Oprah is trying to distance herself from it. Apparently she's said she wasn't expecting the interview to create the reaction it did.

Not convinced about that either.

It was nanna8. no different to comments about a spoilt child
throwing a wobbly in a supermarket ?

To save some going into another critical post no I don’t approve of smacking children.

Then, perhaps not a good phrase to employ another time

Anniebach Sat 24-Apr-21 09:22:24

Smileless I think they would have rehearsed the interview, the jaw dropping was so over the top.

I'm surprised to see that Oprah has said she was surprised that M "went there" during the so called interview when M talked about a member of the RF talking about Archie's skin colour.

Is she trying to distance herself from the fall out perhaps.

I didn't watch the interview but have seen several times the clip where her 'jaw dropped' in shock/surprise but it didn't convince me that she didn't know what was going to be said.

She's a good actress and TBH IMO at that particular moment her acting skills let her down badly.

Emily49 Sat 24-Apr-21 09:15:58

I have a well developed sense of humour, but I find that comment offensive. “Off the cuff” comments can often contain inappropriateness. Or, is it ok, for instance, to say about someone, “ Oh, he’s just a bit daft”?

nanna8 Sat 24-Apr-21 09:12:07

For goodness sake, probably just an off the cuff comment. I found it quite amusing but some have had a humor bypass on here.

Someone should have clocked Harry one years ago ?

What a choice comment! Such consideration for a fellow human being.
