Although this I’d denied by the peers that be. The speculation is that it’s turkeys for Christmas. More suggestions about what else it could be. Is there a trade deal to be had here? Oven ready?

All these worried comments about air miles and poor British workers and agreements in emergency trade with Brazil and turkeys... when there are no actual facts on the matter so far.

Leave the poor turkeys alone and eat up your veggies why does everyone HAVE to eat a turkey for crying out loud ???

give me ? Wellington any Christmas Day ….stuff Turkeys I say ?

Yes, tasty. I'm not keen on turkey but DH thinks it isn't Christmas without it. No turkey wouldn't worry me but he'd be upset and I'd still feel sorry for our farmers.

It'll be turkeys and Johnson will then present himself as 'saving Christmas' by his clever trading.

It makes me laugh (despair actually) when I hear talk of Christmas having to be cancelled because of Covid/shortage of HGV drivers/food shortages etc. Christmas may have to be different because of those things, but the celebration of whatever you celebrate can still go ahead, whether its the birth of Jesus Christ, or the mid-winter festival, or just a family get together.
Let's focus on what is important in life, and not the trivia.
