Regardless of any trade advantages the biggest obstacle to EEA is freedom of movement, this one the issues that Switzerland has currently, still unresolved.
Well, removing Freedom of Movement hasn't really done anything to reduce immigration. As far as I can see the net migration figures remain broadly stable, apart from a drop in 2017 after the referendum. Mostly EU citizens leaving the UK.
This from Statistica is interesting.
In 2021, 13 percent of people in Great Britain thought that immigration was one of the most important issues facing the country, compared with six percent in 2020. During the provided time period, concern about immigration was at its highest in 2015, when 42 percent of people described it as an important issue.

13% doesn't look to me like posing a political threat to a party wanting to reinstate Freedom of Movement by rejoining the EEA.
Some businesses would welcome it, of course. Hospitality, farming, logistics, musicians...
