To turn up looking like a tramp is showing clear disrespect to all the fallen.

It is funny or clever, it is a disgrace.

I feel some sympathy for Boris, my mother who died when I was in my 50’s spent years saying ‘Annie will you keep your hand out of your hair ‘, I still do it ! and have very thick hair, it really is an irritating habit but

Sorry can't read all 10 pages but if my memory serves me right Michael Foot's duffel coat was brand new and he had cleared it with somebody or other to wear and had been told it was fine.
There must be a Saville Row tailor that would like to sort Mr Johnson out surely??

“ There must be a Saville Row tailor that would like to sort Mr Johnson out surely??”
and then people will complain about his wasting money on new clothes , even though better than gold wallpaper ( but I guess that was Mrs J.)

Well if you had read the thread you would have seen several posts showing categorically that Michael Foot was not wearing a duffel coat,

It doesn’t need to be a Savile Row tailor at all.

Michael Foot was an honest authentic person, unlike Johnson who has deliberately fabricated his dishevilled image.

Johnson exudes disrespect. His appearance tells the truth about him. He is an out and out fraud.

Josianne Tue 16-Nov-21 18:16:55

My friend's dad was Michael Foot's optician in North London. Foot broke his glasses and taped them up with plasters because he was too busy to come for an appointment for weeks. Sounds like it didn't really bother him.

He probably can't find anyone willing to pay the legal fees for a case which he would undoubtedly lose.

One would really expect Johnson to spend his own money on a decent suit...

But, as he is the ultimate freeloader it would be a foolish expectation...

Wasn't there some scandal about Hollande's coiffeur being paid €10,000 a month from the government purse? Given the fact he was partly bald, that seems pretty expensive.
"Because you're worth it."

The select committee are ripping Johnson to shreds at the moment. He’s got no baying mob behind him and is being made to answer the questions and stop waffling!

I've just started watching MayBee70, thanks. He's not very impressive, is he?

And at last, at last - today the Speaker finally told Johnson to shut up and be quiet, and to respect the House. He said 'you may be the Prime Minister' but in this House, I am in charge.
