Says he is “keen to get my voice back”.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Nov-21 13:20:42

LBC

Urmstongran Fri 19-Nov-21 13:25:14

Apparently yes, ‘Global’.

Urmstongran Fri 19-Nov-21 13:25:56

Budge up James O’Brien. ?

Zoejory Fri 19-Nov-21 13:27:17

I shan't miss him that much. He's OK. But I"m sure the Beeb will survive. I wonder who will take over from him?

Maybe they'll have Andrew Neil back after his tremendous misguided strop.

Well with Dorries already trying to influence the political reporter by criticising Kuenssberg’s report of the 1922 meeting this week, I think that LBC will begin to become more dependable to give an alternative view to the government.

Urmstongran Fri 19-Nov-21 13:33:57

He’s done 16 years apparently on his Sunday show.
My money’s on Nick Robinson. Or Laura Kussenberg?

lemongrove Fri 19-Nov-21 13:34:20

I won’t miss him either Zoejory ...he talks over those he interviews all the time.

Mollygo Fri 19-Nov-21 13:37:05

I won’t miss him. I only watched occasionally and thought the same as lemongrove.
If the replacement is Laura K I won’t be watching at all.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 19-Nov-21 13:40:04

Here’s another who won’t be watching if LK takes over.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Nov-21 13:47:52

I am surprised by the posters known to support the Tories not to approve of Kuenssberg. She is a well known Tory supporter and frequents Tory bashes quite a lot.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 19-Nov-21 13:56:39

Doesn’t make her any more likeable.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Nov-21 14:22:14

True, but I’m biased of course

WWM2 perhaps because Conservatives do not mindlessly follow their leader, right or wrong and are capable of making independent judgements about people, regardless of their political affiliations.

Agree with your post M0nica

Are you competing for most amusing post of the day, MOnica?

eazybee Fri 19-Nov-21 14:33:29

Not Nick Robinson; he is as bad as Marr, with insisting on putting his own point of view, 'because I haven't finished what I want to say.'
I want someone who asks questions and leaves people to reveal themselves through their own words, not be trapped into a quote that can be highlighted on all the news bulletins throughout Sunday.

eazybee Fri 19-Nov-21 14:36:05

LBC and yet another one on Classic FM.
Whatever happened to real musicians?

Hetty58 Fri 19-Nov-21 14:37:52

It made me laugh - 1st prize for oxymoron!

Do you mean all or some of them?

I honestly don't think all Conservative voters are capable of making independent judgements.

M0nica Fri 19-Nov-21 14:55:32

The same can be said of Labour supporters.

I do not understand this mindless dehumanising contempt for a whole group of people because they have one thing in common that you dislike. This is how racism, antisemitism, persecution of assylum seekers and all the other atrocities that lead to genocide start. Mindless reasonless dislike of people because they belong to a large group.

So why highlight Conservative voters?

You have just lumped together a whole group of people.

Lumping all Conservative voters together, think M0nica got it right.

I shan’t reply, as even you must appreciate the ridiculousness of your post.

growstuff in response to someone who had just done exactly the same thing.
