Says he is “keen to get my voice back”.

Urmstongran Fri 19-Nov-21 17:12:26

As for Marr’s replacement, I don’t like Nick Robinson I just think he’ll get offered the job!

I like that lady on North Korean T V - I don’t understand a word she says but she’s entertaining - should suit the BBC!

Another example of the Tory government trying to control the media

Comment from Matt Kelly, editor in chief, The New European regarding #remorsegate and Boris Johnson's threat to sue the newspaper:

WWM2 perhaps because Conservatives do not mindlessly follow their leader, right or wrong and are capable of making independent judgements about people, regardless of their political affiliations.

Ooooooooh !

No, I didn't. Another one who seems to have problems with comprehension. (sigh)

Do you mean all or some of them?

I honestly don't think all Conservative voters are capable of making independent judgements.

Lumping all Conservative voters together, think M0nica got it right.

I do wish people would read!!

By writing that I don't think all Conservative voters" ..., I implied that some are, but not all.

Is that really so difficult to understand?

I won't old my breath waiting for an apology hmm.

JaneJudge Fri 19-Nov-21 15:59:51

I don't mind Laura Kuenssburg and I have never voted Conservative. Is someone doing a venn?

TopsyIrene06 Fri 19-Nov-21 15:56:09

Phew.

Just someone who allows a labour politician to get a word in so we can judge for ourselves please.

Boz Fri 19-Nov-21 15:53:43

If you read his books, you get a more rounded view of his intelligence. I like his wry ness and will miss him but life moves on.

Aveline Fri 19-Nov-21 15:46:00

Andrew Neil would be good. Ferociously well informed and doesn't take any nonsense.

notgran Fri 19-Nov-21 15:21:07

Pleased he is going. Never a fan of his style of interviewing and could never understand how he was able to hold onto that Sunday morning show for so long. I purposely never watch anything he is part of so will be glad to see him gone.

I shan’t reply, as even you must appreciate the ridiculousness of your post.

The same can be said of Labour supporters.

I do not understand this mindless dehumanising contempt for a whole group of people because they have one thing in common that you dislike. This is how racism, antisemitism, persecution of assylum seekers and all the other atrocities that lead to genocide start. Mindless reasonless dislike of people because they belong to a large group.

So why highlight Conservative voters?

You have just lumped together a whole group of people.

It made me laugh - 1st prize for oxymoron!

eazybee Fri 19-Nov-21 14:36:05

LBC and yet another one on Classic FM.
Whatever happened to real musicians?

eazybee Fri 19-Nov-21 14:33:29

Not Nick Robinson; he is as bad as Marr, with insisting on putting his own point of view, 'because I haven't finished what I want to say.'
I want someone who asks questions and leaves people to reveal themselves through their own words, not be trapped into a quote that can be highlighted on all the news bulletins throughout Sunday.

True, but I’m biased of course

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 19-Nov-21 13:56:39

Doesn’t make her any more likeable.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Nov-21 13:47:52

I am surprised by the posters known to support the Tories not to approve of Kuenssberg. She is a well known Tory supporter and frequents Tory bashes quite a lot.
