Well done the Queen.

Most years, the Queen invites her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to join her at Buckingham Palace for a festive party.

But a Buckingham Palace source confirmed she had called off the royal gathering, because it could put too many people’s Christmas arrangements at risk.

JaneJudge no, she didn’t drink or smoke. I agree , the Queen
has certainly worked.

She hasn’t had to prepare Brussel sprouts like most of us but we have never had to meet, greet and welcome Trump.

Sadly I think this will be HMQ’s last Christmas. She is looking extremely frail. I do hope Charles doesn’t call himself George VII, which he has threatened to do, that would be silly.

I agree I think that this is in appallingly bad taste.

It’s only what some of us re thinking, though. Like a lot of people I think suddenly being inactive after always being busy is very ageing.

I am sure you are right Anniebach; a clear conscience is good for the health.
