Horse Puncher sacked from teaching job
(270 Posts)I read a couple of days ago that ghastly Sarah Moulds who was caught on video kicking and punching a horse has been sacked from her job as a teacher. Can't say I'm sorry. What I want to know is why she hasn’t got a criminal conviction ?
Oh the irony!
Chewbacca
Is that you Sarah Moulds?
Oh Chewbacca you know quite well who I am I've been on GN for donkeys years. I can see you are trying to undermine the concepts which make you uncomfortable but that's a bit desperate

The rspca investigation is ongoing. Animal cruelty is rarely prosecuted.
Abuse of women and children is rarely prosecuted. That’s led to women being able to check out whether their new partner has a history of domestic abuse.
Horses don’t have the ability to check out whether they’re being lent or sold to an abuser. The publicity would stop everyone I know loaning or sale of a horse to Ms MouldsAnd horses matter far more than her children or her husband of course.
Literally no-one on here is saying that. You are twisting people's words to suit your own agenda throughout this whole thread!
Not twisting anyone's words simply applying the philosophy "if you don't speak out about injustice....."
Thanks Blondiescott - you’re right

The people threatening her should be prosecuted.
That doesn’t mean she’s an innocent bystander
And her children and her husband?
The RSPCA has a conviction rate of over 93% possibly because they only prosecute extreme cases and prefer to negotiate with people and reach agreement on the actions to be taken.

Justice- there was a thorough investigation she was charged and found guilty of animal abuse.
Injustice- she and her family have to leave their home her children suffer and so does her husband none of whom did anything wrong all because of social media condemnation.
Silence- you fail to speak out about the injustice..
Some even condemn anyone who does point it out

Much easier to think of her as a Ms.
Actually, it's much easier to think of her as a horse slapping brute that cannot control her temper.Of course it is. That's the trouble with social media it doesn't allow for any degree of complexity or any perception of a wider picture.
I wish you'd stop blaming social media for this.
Do you honestly believe that the school trust acted because they were worried what was being said on social media? Ridiculous. Just ridiculous.
They acted because this woman, be she Mrs, ms or Mx, was abusing an animal. Which was caught on camera.
She's useless as a teacher now. No respect. Not because of social media. Because of her actions. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you really think it's OK to slap and kick a horse I'd feel sorry for you.
But I think you just like an argument on ... where? On social media, that's where. Which makes you just as culpable as those you are denigrating.
To prove your point?

How dare you use his name today of all days to probe your point?

Hence why, in situations like this, I will always be the one who speaks up for those who cannot speak for themselves - ie, the animal.
She should be arrested. Glad she’s been sacked and sincerely hope she doesn’t get another job in teaching. She should have her DoE andS reg. number revoked as a matter of course.
Most inappropriate Trisher!
I am seriously wondering about you!
This concept that it's all her fault
It isn't a "concept" trisher; it's a fact. It's entirely her own fault that she slapped and kicked a horse. It's entirely her own fault that she has a temper that she can't control. It's entirely her own fault that she chose a profession whereby standards of personal behaviour are required both inside, and outside, of the workplace. Although I deplore the fact that the social media furore has severely impacted on her husband and children, she is the architect of the situation they were placed in. And the sad thing is that if/when the RSPCA formalise charges of animal cruelty against her, they will be forced into the spotlight again because of her.

This concept that it's all her fault quietly absolves all of those who have responded by condemning her and frees you from the responsibility for the effect on her family. In order to maintain this you continue to refer to her as Ms Moulds. My main complaint (FGS how manytimes do I have to say it) is that I will not judge on the basis of an on-line video and a social media shit storm. If you want the woman charged with cruelty then do it through the proper channels. If you choose not to do so then don't expect everyone to agree with the course you have chosen because some of us have standards of justice and consider that driving children from their home, death threats, losing your job, losing your husband's business is not simply unjust it is positively inhumane and much as I might personally dislike hunting and possibly this woman I would fight for her to be treated fairly because public condemnation seldom stops or restricts itself to one person or one area of behaviour. Just saying you don't agree with the extreme responses is not enough if you follow it up by calling her names or condemning her. That's just standing on the sidelines cheerleading whilst others do their worst.
I have used Ms.Moulds as I have absolutely no idea how this lady likes to be addressed.
As for a social media shit storm I am sorry but you are wrong. Her employers conducted a six week investigation into her conduct, before sacking her. I suspect they have more to go on than we know, otherwise they would be leaving themselves open to a wrongful dismissal case.
The RSPCA have an ongoing investigation into this incident.
More importantly if Ms.Moulds had not slapped, punched and kicked the horse whilst she was holding onto its reins there would not have been anything to record, investigate, post online. The fault is hers and hers alone.
Another vile human who thinks abusing animals is acceptable. This person does not deserve to be anywhere near animals or children who would look up to her. This makes me so angry !!

Stop deflecting Trisher. She’s a nasty tempered abuser of animals. That’s the bottom line and she’s been caught out. Boo boo - suck it up Mrs Moulds!
Good grief.
