I watched the interview to understand why Farage has got involved. What was interesting was that he interviewed the ex Australian ambassador to the eu. He was 100% behind Djokovic.
He said ministers and bureaucrats had behaved stupidly and were in the wrong.

So, Chestnut, how about providing a list of three GOOD things for each of the people mentioned. I can’t think of one. I could list three hateful and nasty comments for each of them, but I suspect under your extreme right-wing exterior, you don’t need to be told as you are perfectly aware of their failings.

Just come back online and seen a few misguided comments here. Firstly, I am not extreme right wing or especially a supporter of any of the above. They have often got things wrong especially Trump. But I do find they are often misquoted or misunderstood by people who are blinded by hate. I don't tend to make venomous remarks about anyone, but that doesn't make me a supporter.
By the way, I did break into a hate-fest on Rees-Mogg the other day to point out something positive and good he had done, but was completely ignored! They just didn't want to hear it.

All those you've mentioned are in the news (less so with Trump, but he's still visible in the media).

They are our politicians, movers and shakers, and they often / sometimes say things which are quite challenging.

Should we then just ignore what they say? Give them free rein - not challenge them in return?

Jeremy Corbyn is also in the news again (he's not my man BTW) and there's been some pretty nasty things said or implied about him from various quarters on social media. But you didn't include him in the list.

I personally am pretty critical of all of the above - including Corbyn. They often court controversy with the things they say and do, and the statements they make. I don't regard it as a "hate-fest" to point out the lies (when they are lying), or the provocative comments. They all need to be held to account because they are in positions of power and have a tremendous influence on the way people behave.

... and I will do the same if we ever end up with Starmer in power. We have a history in Britain of criticising our politicians, lampooning them in cartoons (PUNCH magazines), whichever party holds the seats. They are answerable to us and have to accept responsibility for their actions.

Would it not make more sense for those of you who support those four to give a reasoned list of what it is you admire about them rather than the “we won’t take any notice” type of remark ? Just a thought.

We have many examples now and in the past, that support for some politicians are not just 'a difference of opinions', but support for abhorrent principles and actions. That is not mean, it is fact.

I have more of a problem with the people who like/support Farage than I do with the shyster himself. As with Trump, it was not so much the man himself who scared me, more that fact that millions of people thought ( and some still do) that he was a great choice for president. The one thing that cheers me about Farage is that he hasn't been elected to Parliament, despite 7 attempts. Pathetic man.
