Farage; what a chancer and grifter!

I read that Farage has involved himself with the Djokovic family and has posted photos of himself in their trophy room. The irony of a man who spent the last decade campaigning for an Australian Style immigration system, for countries having control of their immigration and their borders, now campaigning against it. Is there no end to this man's opportunism? Pathetic little man

Andy Murray on Twitter this morning; Please record the awkward moment when you tell them you’ve spent most of your career campaigning to have people from Eastern Europe deported.?

Urmstongran Mon 10-Jan-22 11:12:25

I like listening to him on GB News. ??

vegansrock Mon 10-Jan-22 11:31:14

Wasn’t he the weasel who told Obama to stay out of other countries business?

fairfraise Mon 10-Jan-22 11:32:02

Like him or loathe him, he does bring certain issues to the forefront though this whole Djokovic thing has gone a bit too far. He does believe passionately in his campaigns.

And David Icke believes passionately that we are ruled by lizards.

fairfraise Mon 10-Jan-22 11:34:33

David Icke is completely nuts.

Smileless2012 Mon 10-Jan-22 11:37:25

He believes passionately in himself that's for sure.

Alegrias1 Mon 10-Jan-22 11:38:33

Indeed. Farage, Icke - see the similarities?

He’s a one issue campaigner. Once Brexit was ‘done’ he was done too. He always loses in any election, thank goodness, but despite that he just keeps popping back up.

Like a stubborn, unflushable poo?

silverlining48 Mon 10-Jan-22 11:48:02

Yes indeed Fanny grin

Wheniwasyourage Mon 10-Jan-22 12:39:02

What a brilliant way to put it Fanny! Gold star to Andy Murray too, GillT57.

Kandinsky Mon 10-Jan-22 12:44:16

Why are people who can’t stand him so obsessed with him?
Fascinating.

Alegrias1 Mon 10-Jan-22 12:48:05

Because he is a pernicious, self interested, hateful idiot who has ruined this country.

That'll do for starters.

The current Djokovic/Australia issue has nothing to do with immigration.

I am obsessed by wondering just why some people think he is to be admired, or even listened to. He is nothing but an opportunist, a chancer and that is being kind. He is a nasty piece of work who plays on people's fears, stirs up racism. Will that do?

Alegrias1 Mon 10-Jan-22 13:03:15

for countries having control of their immigration and their borders

Kali2 Mon 10-Jan-22 13:03:43

It has with controlling borders!

Has anyone forgotten how he has demonsied East Europeans in the Brexit campaign.

Alegria, couldn't have said it any better, thanks.

Kandinsky

Why are people who can’t stand him so obsessed with him?
Fascinating.

Because he is dangerous and has caused so much harm already.

I have more of a problem with the people who like/support Farage than I do with the shyster himself. As with Trump, it was not so much the man himself who scared me, more that fact that millions of people thought ( and some still do) that he was a great choice for president. The one thing that cheers me about Farage is that he hasn't been elected to Parliament, despite 7 attempts. Pathetic man.

Chocolatelovinggran Mon 10-Jan-22 13:47:55

Yes,GillT57, you're right, it's people who follow him that are more perturbing. I do wonder, actually, if he does believe in anything, or is it that he hitches himself to any wagon that he thinks will lead him to power. I am happy to say that he did stand for election in my constituency, but was unsuccessful ( never has so much talk about tactical voting been heard)!

Chestnut Mon 10-Jan-22 14:20:16

Here we go. Press their hot buttons and off they go....Farage, Trump, Boris, and recently Rees Mogg. Let the hate-fest commence! Just write as many nasty hateful comments as you can drum up and throw them into the ring.
Just don't expect anyone to take any notice of them ?
