I am almost beginning to feel sorry for these people. Who wants to go to that many works parties. I told a lie to get out of my works Christmas do, it sounds like I would be constantly lying if I worked at number 10.

I'm quite astonished that so many people seem to be happy to mix with other people at parties during a period when the virus was spreading like wildfire. I'd have been scared to go! It would only possibly be 'safe' if these were people you were working with all day anyway, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
