Oh no! *Another* party

I'm quite astonished that so many people seem to be happy to mix with other people at parties during a period when the virus was spreading like wildfire. I'd have been scared to go! It would only possibly be 'safe' if these were people you were working with all day anyway, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Love this..........

Who is drip-feeding the news of parties? it will be interesting if all those that attended these parties resigned or were sacked.

Including James Slack - think he’ll resign from The Sun ?

It must be difficult to fit in any time for work amongst all these parties.

Mind you, I could compile a list of restrictions for the public to follow strictly in about 10 minutes flat then spend the rest of the day sipping G&Ts.

Yes indeed.
Mind you, my tipple of choice wouldn’t be gin. I’ll have a glass of bubbles please. ?

Looks like Keir has been spotted at a beer drinking, sandwich nibbling party as well.

This footage appears to have been taken through a window

It looks like a rubbish party.

Why isn’t there a cut off date?
Let’s ask them all to search their minds, diaries and consciences and get it all out there.
That poor woman whose job it is to make sense of it all has to keep starting again.
If they go over the date we could all have fun thinking about a dire punishment.

Pammie1 Fri 14-Jan-22 18:03:39

And, given that one of the excuses for a get together was that they had all been working hard, where exactly is all the work being done amongst all the frivolity while people were dying alone, and families traumatised ?

Pammie1 Fri 14-Jan-22 18:02:06

Boris needs to go.

Lucca

Is this thread different to “ more no.10 parties “ ??.

Slightly different. It's a 'new' party. Nuance, Lucca, nuance... grin

Calistemon our own lockdown has also proved to be shambolic too, with areas such as airports that were still operating ?

Galaxy Fri 14-Jan-22 17:10:39

I am almost beginning to feel sorry for these people. Who wants to go to that many works parties. I told a lie to get out of my works Christmas do, it sounds like I would be constantly lying if I worked at number 10.

Calistemon Fri 14-Jan-22 17:08:18

Why didn't we have a complete forced lockdown like Australia did ? I'll never understand why we didn't. Words fail me.

And what a shambles that is turning out to be!!

Don't get me started.

EllanVannin Fri 14-Jan-22 17:06:37

And the dozens of the public who totally ignored being told what to do and carried on as normal saying at the time that " they can't prosecute everyone ". That was in the paper.

Why didn't we have a complete forced lockdown like Australia did ? I'll never understand why we didn't. Words fail me.

Apparently so.
I wonder how many more are going to slither out of the woodwork.
No wonder Johnson hasn't been condemned!
They're all bloody at it!

Oh well, she has apologised. angry

So that's all right then!

MissAdventure Fri 14-Jan-22 16:34:02

Lockdown sceptics must be having a field day!

Note her area of responsibility...

This is becoming farcical.
