Have a look at the pics. He is such a hypocrite.

Who is that blonde woman in that photo of Johnson with his bloody cake? He honestly looks like a half wit.
She looks furious

Looks like a school ma'am on the warpath to me!

Wouldn’t have thought she was furious he was visiting a school and they presented him with the cake

His cake looks delicious! My daughter could bake that. I wish I knew what flavour it was.

Is that a cake baked at the school he visited?

If that's the Head Teacher she should have run up and pushed it into his face.

Josieann Tue 25-Jan-22 18:05:54

Then he would have been a strawberry fool!

Callistemon21 Tue 25-Jan-22 18:08:16

It would have been such a waste of lovely cake!

I hope he didn't blow out any candles though.

???

Definitely not Sue Grey!

It's the school he visited on his birthday and the cake was meant to be for Josephine and me because we missed our parties because Boris told us we weren't allowed.

Who ate all the cake?
Not Josephine or me.

JaneJudge Tue 25-Jan-22 19:39:44

It was a school in Hertfordshire according to our local news
???

It would be something if Johnson is finally brought down by a piece of cake.

I thought the issue was with a birthday party at No 10 so why are they publishing pictures taken at a school? And why all the silly comments about him and the woman?

Because it was taken at a school he visited on his birthday. Do you need any other reason?

Lots of cake jokes on twitter after a tory MP claimed that Johnson was ambushed by the cake....

FannyCornforth Wed 26-Jan-22 10:17:48

It was Northern Ireland Minister Conor Burns. I think that it was on Nick Ferarri

He and Peter Bone are the only Conservative MP’s stupid enough to give interviews about it at the moment…oh, and JRM but his is just an attitude of pure arrogance.

I do wonder, when I see pictures like these, how hard/easy it is for schools/hospitals/factories to refuse a visit from Johnson or any other PM. I should imagine in some instances it could lead to substantial political fallout for the refuser.

And I'm also reminded of the card I used to carry (above) when Thatcher was keen on hospital visits.

Chestnut Wed 26-Jan-22 10:48:30

Surely the school visit can't have broken the rules in place at the time?

Iam64 Wed 26-Jan-22 11:08:14

No one is suggesting the school visit breached rules
It’s all the other breaches thst

Me and MrA at our Golden Wedding party, July 2020.

Our guests all notable by their absence!

Ours was on 29th of May- we were supposed to come over to England to celebrate with the family, adding my 70th and his 75th in the big number. And of course we had to cancel and be on our own.

Compared to what some had to endure with loved ones dying on their own- no comparison, at all.

Our Golden Wedding party didn’t happen either!

Oh yes did you see it? It was horrendous.

Truss seems to have become a robot after taking elocution lessons.

There is no way that she could be considered the next leader.

Bizarre
