It’s all beneath him, isn’t it?

Beneath him, yet, beyond him

Apologies for quoting myself, but I do think that this is at the root of all of his problems.

He believes that he is terribly bright and quite the thing, yet in reality is a total f** wit.

Many of Carrie's pals are journalists; Allegra Stratton (married to James Forsyth, political editor of The Spectator) for example. Surely there is a security risk here or are the senior staff so used to this situation that they send the lying old fool out with a hard hat somewhere he can't do any harm?

Surely people who work for government agencies or the MoD who are DV security cleared know very well what they can and cannot share? I am REALLY confused as to how this has been allowed to happen or continue confused

We also know that Johnson has had Russian friends.

He has totally played fast and loose with Britain's security.

well I have never been a member of the Labour party, and haven't even voted for them on some occasions, but I am so desperate to get rid of this corrupt, thieving cabinet that I plan on joining the LP. I acknowledge there are decent Tory MPs, and like with the many decent serving officers in the Met Police, they must not all be damned by the senior team, but this cabinet, headed by Johnson is doing dreadful damage to this country and must be stopped.

Well, he had his 5 minutes of " fame" in 2016 when the masses voted for Brexit----his way of getting into power. ( rolls eyes )
Nobody listened or saw the ulterior motive !! I did because I KNEW he was a Remainer. Talk about bluffing your way through. I don't like people who use bluff !

he sounds like a child, wtf is wrong with him - she doesn't sound much better but she isn't running the country

surely all this covered during developed checking? hmm or is the PM exempt?

The words of my father whenever I tried to make excuses ring in my ears:

"Your best isn't good enough! Time you bucked up!"

But but bit ,he's doing his best! No body else would have done better with Brexit and covid ...and he did a marvellous job with the vaccines.( did he do every one himself?) If I hear anyone else saying this or see it written down I'll scream.Of course its usually followed by imagine how much worse it woule have bee if it had been Corbyn!! I'd guess Corbyn wouldn't have handed out billions to his pals or have so much useless PPE sitting in storage costing a million pounds a Day ..and I'M NOT A LABOUR SUPPORTER .

Wasn't it reported quite early in his PMship that Cummings directed civil servants that briefings for the Red Box had to be no more than 1 side of A4 (or maybe it was half a side) else he wouldn't read them?

... I thought his max attention span went to 2 pages of A4, could be wrong.

Regardless, he doesn't "do" details. And this is plainly obvious when he has to speak at length on any issue. He appears confused, says "um", "ah", "er" "ter" (which is the way he pronounces "to") whilst his brain gets the cog wheels aligned and he manages a complete sentence.

I wonder how the real-time translation app will translate his comments to Putin during the 'phone call...

I did begin to think that there might actually be one day with Johnson being embroiled in yet another scandal..wrong!
….two scandals, admittedly at the end of the day, secret papers left lying around and Carrie's friends given the No. 10 access code.

Now we read reports that senior civil servants and ministers were having to insist that Johnson works from the office and not from home due to red boxes, many of them full of highly sensitive information, laying about in the Downing Street flat, open for all to see including Carrie's pals and friends who were frequent visitors. It has been described as a 'Frat house atmosphere', with people in and out.
