So embarrassed to be British lately - with a clown for PM and a stupid foreign Secretary, we must be a complete laughing stock to the rest of the world.

Be fair , she's only the second worst Foreign Secretary we've ever had.

I thought she was doing a Julie Christie impersonation from Dr Zhivago., Only she wasn't sexy and sultry and didn't wow her man.
As I said the other day a foreign secretary who doesn't know her Geography, doesn't know her Baltics from her Balkans. Though she certainly knows how to do a bal......up.

Well, the more I read the worse it gets. If I was Truss I wouldn’t show my face again for months and months.

Channeling her inner Thatcher. Apparently it is unseasonably warm in Moscow. The thought is that she must have been absolutely boiling.

What do we expect when we've had ministers who didn't know that NI voting was on sectarian lines; the significance of Dover regarding imports/exports; and someone who was sacked by Theresa May became Education Secretary!

I did wonder what sort of hash she would make of things. Why can't they either find some grown ups or at least someone who can research and take advice?

Truss thought she could look like a stateswoman & reprise her pound shop Thatcher impersonation to impress the base back home. She got humiliated. It’s the arrogance of thinking that gangsters like Lavrov & Putin wouldn’t know exactly what she was playing at that’s most pathetic.
