Virginia Giuffre and the missing picture

Apparently Prince Andrew’s accuser has lost the photograph of her and PA together. He has always maintained it’s fake and his legal team want it be examined.

Does anyone else find it odd that a photograph that has been kept for years has now suddenly been lost?

No need to be rude about WWM2 because her opinion doesn’t fit with yours

Oh sorry JaneJudge, yes I was referring to your post.

But I understood she didn't want to 'take him to the cleaners' she didn't want a financial settlement, she wanted to show that no one is above the lawconfused.

Except she’s had to agree to it going to charity which isn’t what she wanted.

I’ll be interested to see how her other cases develop.

Where did you find that information please?

How do you know the photo hasn't been lost, and what makes you think that it wasn't going to be produced as evidence Whitewavemark?

How do you know "He was never going to court"?

Because Windsor had very little options. He had no apparent defence to the substantive claim by Giuffre, that was clear as the months unfolded, so court was never going to be an option as courts tend to favour the claimant in any case.m

All the tactics his lawyers tried were blown out if the water by Giuffre’s lawyers.

Windsor had therefore either to settle on Giuffre)s terms or go to trial.

Both sets of lawyers would have worked on the assumption of a settlement. - everything else was simple a side show.

It seems that Giuffre kept her nerve and took him to the cleaners.

Good for her.

Exactly JaneJudge.

JaneJudge Tue 15-Feb-22 18:01:59

Oh god my other quoted post makes no sense of all grin She didn't say it was lost, she said it wasn't in her possession
The Sun and daily mail have ran with she has lost it, but as the hate women generally, maybe no one should be surprised by that

When did she say that Judy?

if you are referring to me, it was in the Telegraph and other news story information

welbeck Tue 15-Feb-22 17:56:36

so that's that then.
so no more threads on it all then ? ...maybe.

Smileless2012 Tue 15-Feb-22 17:52:53

When did she say that Judy?

Anniebach Tue 15-Feb-22 17:45:02

Yes, it’s over

Iam64 Tue 15-Feb-22 17:43:07

I’m not surprised she doesn’t have the original.
I’m relieved they reached an agreed settlement. I heard some of it read out on the 4pm news. It sounded to have been well researched, discussed and agreed to the satisfaction of both parties. Good.

she didn't say it was lost. The daily mail and sun have said, she said it was lost
she said it was not in her possession!

Judy54 Tue 15-Feb-22 17:18:46

She says that the FBI have the original photo and she has a copy.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 15-Feb-22 17:02:49

You obviously have inside knowledge.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 15-Feb-22 17:02:05

He was never going to court. It would have been a massive risk as evidence given would have almost certainly subsequently used for a criminal case.

It was never, never going to happen.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 15-Feb-22 16:59:44

It wasn’t bravado wwm. He was set to give evidence next month. She was dead set on her day in court, no settlement. Ask yourself what changed her mind.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 15-Feb-22 16:58:00

Blimey as a solicitor that is a very naive statement.

How long do you think it has taken them to agree on the wording of the final statement by Windsor. That document would have been going back and forwards for weeks.

Of course the photo hadn’t been lost, and how do you know that the photo being produced as “evidence” was real?

merlotgran Tue 15-Feb-22 16:56:47

Breaking News…..Andrew has settled!

Sparklefizz Tue 15-Feb-22 16:56:33

Germanshepherdsmum

I see it the other way round wwm. PA was adamant that he was going to testify, she was adamant she wouldn’t accept a settlement - then the photo went missing when PA’s lawyers wanted an expert to examine it and suddenly everything changed.

I see it that way round too. I'm no fan of PA but that photo/lack of photo is significant imo.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 15-Feb-22 16:55:03

No way. Windsor going to court in the middle of the Queens jubilee year!!?. It would run for months and months. That was just bravado on his part.
