We don’t know where Andrew is finding the money from FannyCornforth. The point I was making is that neither does Grany. In fact, we don’t know how much money he needs to find either, so that is also pure speculation.

I agree with you Fanny. Personally, although I take interest in whet the royals are up to, and enjoy the spectacles when they happen, I really think it’s time we voted for our HofS.

This is how the Sovereign Grant was spent in 1920/21. There is a vast amount of other information in the report. anyone who reads and understands the whole thing will be able to write a book on the subject.

And if anyone really believes that the details of the Queen's ( or anyone else's), private income and expenses is any of their business, I suggest that they publish on here their own financial affairs.

Views are one thing, political organisations using chat forums in this way is surely against GN rules.

Oh, come on. Grany's views are shaped by the information she gets from a source, or sources. Just like those of everyone else on this forum. She has a perfect right to express them, and to post the information that shapes them. It's up to us to evaluate it and make our own judgments. It doesn't need to be banned and she doesn't need to be singled out for criticism over them.

If we don't like her views we can ignore them or present a counter argument.

I think the Queen must be feeling a little worse today, as she has cancelled her video calls which she had been planning to do as late as yesterday

You're right, it's being kept secret. There are opinions offered: "The sum of the settlement between Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre has not been disclosed, but reports say the total amount could be as much as £12 million" it says in inews

We need to remember that "mild symptoms" for covid can be like the worst symptoms you've ever had for a cold. It just means you don't have low blood oxygen and struggling to breathe like people did before the vaccinations were ready and when we had Delta to deal with. Poor Derek Draper is still a reminder of what non-mild symptoms were like.

I said they CAN BE bad cold symptoms, while still being described as mild covid, hopefully you saw the nuance. What I was trying to get at is the description of the Queen's symptoms as being mild have a lot of wriggle room, and she could actually be feeling pretty rotten.
