By being common is nothing to do with money or class, it’s how you conduct yourself. Lack of money is no barrier as I can assure you, my cousin raised by a single mother in the forties, had the good fortune to be raised by a strong woman, he was taught good manners and respect to people, treat people as he would like to be treated, always cleanly turned out, once you raise your voice you lose tge argument, it’s bullying, my aunt had pride in her home and dress, he went to state school, passed for grammar school, extended family clubbed together to buy his uniform, they had nothing but were generous with the little they had, wanted him to do well. He went to University, he now runs huge company and lives a very good lifestyle, in lovely area. My own two, I was poor, both did very well at state schools, one went on to get his own company, the other did equally well. What they did have was what my cousin had.
