There isnt a gang. There are lots of people who hold a variety of beliefs on this issue. Feminists, people who couldnt care less about feminism, and on and on.

I've been asked to repost this:
'Julie Bindel had a pretty horrendous time whilst delivering a (previously postponed) lecture to York University's Free Speech Society.
The activists, who say we must be "all be kind" didn't display much courtesy or kindness to her.?
She was abused, accused, screamed at, and had placards thrust in her face. The TW mob were out in force, and she was "invited" to kiss their "man-boobs" and told things she could do with their "trans d*cks".

Meanwhile, in the Court case involving Alison Bailey, Stonewall tell us that there are no such things as male and female bodies. They don't exist...?

It sure is a funny old world out there in Trans La-La land.

Good start.
You see it is a cult. Escape is impossible. I can send the required merch. Cup with a dinosaur on, far right money, lunch with famous author.
Here is a link to a lengthy report by the Future of Legal Gender Project :
www.kcl.ac.uk/law/research/future-of-legal-gender-abolishing-legal-sex-status-full-report.pdf
It begins :
"To explore whether the current system of assigning people a legal sex and gender status should be dismantled, and the challenges and potential difficulties this proposal raises, we undertook extensive research, involving several
different methods."
I didn't know that we had a current system of assigning legal sex and gender status.
Surely sex is observed and gender status depends on current attitudes in society.
But look at what's happened here today. Without knowing anything about what I think, I've had people making sneering remarks about cutting and running, I've had people assuming they know what I think, I have had back hand remarks about people who post on Twitter. (Which I don't do, by the way)
For a collection of women who want to keep things fair for other women, this group doesn't display good behaviour to other women. When I started talking about Tom Daley, did you assume I must be supportive of trans athletes competing in the categories they want to? Don't worry about answering, I'll live without knowing.
Now I'm going to cut and run again. And you can all have a wee post-fest about how there isn't a group of women on here and how I'm unfairly judging you all.
Oh I give up. Waste of time.
I know the feeling.
I have scanned through it farnorth and they certainly have some interesting theories.
I also came across this very sensible guide for journalists reporting on trans-identifying people accused, or convicted, of crime.
I don't know how likely it is that this will be adopted by journalists.
www.uclan.ac.uk/news/trans-identified-defendants
In connection with printing a person's previous name(s), the guide says :
"An analogy would be with press treatment of far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, AKA Tommy Robinson. The media, across the political spectrum, routinely refer to him by both names, regardless of his preference."
That makes sense, and would be a step in the right direction, I think.
Yes I saw that. I thought it was helpful. I think journalists are often placed in an impossible situation on this issue. You can sometimes sense the disbelief between the lines.
Volver^ I have had back hand remarks about people who post on Twitter. (Which I don't do, by the way)^ Who said you posted on Twitter? You mentioned what you’d read on Twitter as a source for what you were saying-or are you saying you didn’t do that either.
I’m just saying this in case you pop in again.
I find it depressing to see mention, in that guide for journalists, that there are "incentives in the courts and prison system".
Meaning that so-called fairness for trans people is encouraging claims of trans identity in order to get favourable treatment.
Of course, that wouldn't matter so much if the favourable treatment didn't include being housed along with female prisoners.
Old joke going the rounds way back in the sixties. Genders are now as selectable as positions - and the "ordinary" ones are as likely to be neglected. -
Sex lecturer, "There are 100 sexual positions . . "
Voice from the back of the room "A hundred and one!"
Lecturer ^" These hundred positions are . . "
Voice from the back of the room, " A hundred and one!"
Lecturer (sighs), "These hundred and one positions are, first, the ordinary missionary position . . "
Voice from the back of the room, "A hundred and two!"
It's getting a bit like that....many a true word, spoken in jest.?
Rosie Duffield questioned Raab today, at PMQ, about women's rights, freedom, and ability to choose:

Elegran?
It'll be interesting to see what results this shows:
"Every child treated for gender dysphoria in the last decade will have their medical records scrutinised to see if NHS care is causing more harm than good.
Sajid Javid will today start to change the law to allow researchers to study data on around 9,000 adolescents given counselling or drugs for the condition.
The Health Secretary wants to know whether the treatment improves trans children's lives or leads to further problems or regret.
Currently, the data is protected by medical confidentiality laws that mean people are given a new NHS number when they legally change their gender.
Mr Javid has expressed concern that some vulnerable youngsters are being wrongly prescribed powerful puberty blockers. Insiders claim he thinks the current system is 'failing children' and has likened the uneasiness to speak out to officials' fear of investigating Asian grooming gangs.
It follows several lawsuits against NHS gender clinics by patients who feel they were not challenged more by medics when they changed genders."
www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-10969077/Every-trans-child-treated-NHS-records-scrutinised-regret-transitioning.html
Some sense at last. The sloppiness of the NHS, in this, is appalling.
If it's found that all is well, then great, but it's ludicrous to keep no check at all.
I wonder how long it'll take, and how complete it'll be, given the changing of NHS numbers and names.

And for light relief, here's the Natural History Museum telling us that reptiles can be LGBTQ, or that people are the same as reptiles, or something.....

Oh no!
In order to reproduce, the reptiles simply clone themselves. Well I can think of a few people who would think that option ideal!??

Well, far from being implemented, this guide has been pulled altogether so we'll continue to see lies in print, I suppose.
