Why is Johnson more popular than Starmer?

Starmer comes across as dull as ditch water and I find his manner a bit like the tell tale kid in class.
I think it’s his delivery / voice probably but I don’t see him as PM material persona wise.

The implication made was that she had lied about her job Monica, as part of an anti Starmer post. The subsequent posts were correcting the misinformation about her work. I agree with you that it should not have been brought up, but once it was, the misinformation needed correcting.

Stammer has also provided to be a liar he has on different occasions said how many ppl were with him having a takeaway and beer and they is something about him I can’t put my finger on he’s sly he comes across slimy and don’t get me started on rayner she tried to play victim about a joke she made few months previously I smell a rat with them both. Boris as scum media after his blood he could pass out pink unicorns ? and they would still find something about him.

Is he? I’m am mystified that any sentient adult female (whatever their usual political preferences) could support Mr Johnson. Apart from his proven lies in previous jobs (sacked twice for lying) and the obvious lies in his current position, he is completely relaxed about reneging on international treaties and breaking the law “in a limited way” (breaking the law in a limited way is a bit like being “slightly” pregnant). I also find his philandering extremely distasteful. Apart from the trail of mistresses and children, he deserted his former wife for the current incumbent (young enough to be his daughter) while the former wife was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. He is beyond a complete sh!t and I am embarrassed to have such an amoral nasty piece of work representing my country around the world.

i think Johnson has special needs and needs a carer. how many people can get annoyed with somebody that has special needs? it is easier to dislike somebody that is capable of actions without a carer. I could never vote Tory but even I can't get angry at Johnson despite the fact he is not honest or trustworthy.

Today's PMQ session has unearthed a new slogan. Apparently he's going to 'put his arms round people' who are suffering in the current financial situation.

I never ceased to be mystified by women who seem to adore a man (Johnson) whose has written repeatedly about his contempt for the women who vote for him and his party. He has written several times that Conservative women are his porky stooges. Why love a man who abuses you?

Why anybody likes this bumbling scruffy egocentric man is beyond me, he can not complete a proper sentence without either waffle or lying. Nothing he says can be believed. Kier Starmmer always sounds more calm and measured when speaking probably because of his background. I won't say which side of the political spectrum I am on?

So Starmer is simultaneously not much of an opposition or else he constantly complains about the current government.

He should pop over to the "inventions" thread - he's discovered a way of being two exactly diametrically opposite people both at the same time.

those "occupational health" articles used to say Occupational Therapy" also I still wonder what she does. Occy Health don't employ lawyers and she is actually currently (or was when I checked) not registered to practice law either. I can't believe she is working in a low paying admin role and as I said has no clinical qualtification...oh and PS she isn't Mrs Starmer, she is Lady Victoria Starmer.

Occupational Health at Regional level does employ lawyers greenlady102. They work on complex employment cases related to staff sickness and fitness to work. All regions have a solicitor’s department.

Errrmmm ... why does it matter what her correct form of address is? When the Duchess of Kent was working in a school, she asked to be called "Mrs Kent".

Johnson has got things done, whereas Starmer just whines and whinges constantly about the tories rather than tell us what he could get done.
