My sad life today composed of having just returned from walking the dog on the South Downs in the early morning sunshine for an hour. I am now sitting drinkingh tea whilst I browse the news and commenting on GN. Politics is a hobby of mine. My other hobbies are gardening, watercolour painting, crafty stuff and walking. I also love the theatre, in fact booked to see MSND end of June. Which for me is as traditional as reading A. Christmas Carol each year?.

The other bit of my sad life today will consist of getting to grips with an overgrown rambler, planting out some salading, I will then prepare tonight’s dinner, before showering and changing to drive with DH to his heart checkup. We then will walk for an hour or two before returning home to cook and eat dinner. I will look at the news and almost certainly become extremely cross at something else the idiot who calls himself Prime minister has done.
I shall finish the day by reading my latest book which is called “The spy and Traitor” a true story.

Tomorrow will be entirely different.
Perhaps those who think my life is sad could suggest where I am going wring?

Just on a brief tangent Maudi.you wonder if posters have sad lives.,actually some do through no fault of their own eg terminal illness, mobility issues etc so your comment is doubly offensive.

My life doesn't revolve around GN like it does for some I don't let things bother me or the name calling I just think some posters must have very sad lives.

How about stopping to think of a more humane attuitude instead of wasting time saying silly things about posters having sad lives. You make a lot of assumptions eg all those opposing this hideous transportation policy are “lefties”. There are posts on here from people I know are not Labour supporters but who condemn it.

Why should there be any balance? It's not the BBC...

The Prime Minister says that the Rwandan centre where the first refugees are to be sent is a model that the rest of the world could follow.

Maudi, I have asked you before to justify your unpleasantness towards lawyers whose role is to support people through the legal process, or prosecute those who break the law. I repeat, if you were accused of a crime , you might be inclined to call on the services of this group which you hold in such contempt.
